I truly believe this program is cursed. Just the luck and more importantly the play is just mind boggling. It’s almost gotten unwatchable with how this team plays anymore. I guess I just miss the glory days…maybe someday we will get back to that but this program is a dumpster fire for decades now.
NIT bound. And likely losing B1G record. Unfortunately this team won’t meet even some of the realistic preseason expectations on this board.
Every state has “bad neighborhoods” Indiana however has continuously been one of the WORST places to live in the country. The only reason to stay there used to be basketball but it obviously isn’t anything compared to NJ basketball. You can come here if you want, but you’re probably to soft like your basketball team.

False! You guys actually had the 9th largest decline in population. Indiana has a top 10 cost of living with a cost index of 90 with NJ at 121. You would need to understand your dollar value is actually not worth much vs your income, but keep pumping your chest.

Rutgers has one of the most active boards on Rivals. Even though some fans here are upset and calling other names, I am not into making it personal. Besides, I visit all B1G boards to see what other fans say.

I guess Indiana is overflowing with people fighting to move there. The education for k-12 is top-notch. People with college degrees are one of the best in the nation, so people earn high incomes. A house in my neighborhood doesn't sit vacant long. People will overpay because of the location, which is 10 minutes from NYC. There is new construction going up all around. New schools, new houses, and apartments. Keep believing the sh*t you here on TV. I'm watching live and up close. NJ is continuing to increase in population.
RU fan here(come in peace); our teams are sooooo similair(frustrating, amazing, exciting, wanting to make you throw something!). This was, obviously, a huge win for us, and a bad loss for you. Just a few observations/questions:
-think your head coach is a keeper(at least for now). He knows IU, knows Indiana, and I think he seems so know the culture(your thoughts would be interesting)
-both team desperately need a true 4-star point guard(would change the entire team) and you could add at least 3 more wins to each team.
-I have watched about 10 IU games during the season; why doesn't Race touch the ball almost everytime down the floor? He has the skill and intelligence to decide if he should take the shot or kick it out, but it seems when you don't give it to him early on in the shot clock, the offense doesn't seem to run as smoothly.
