MSU 3pt shooters are taking advantage of IU over pursuit… can’t run as fast as a pass.I thought we’d be better defensively…
Yep… they got a lot of sectional titles … back in the day. … and had a big run of them in Class ABeing from Washington Loogootee refs are just euphemisms of crooked inept referees. lol
If they don’t foul out too many playersMichigan State has this game now
One of my greatest sports memories is back in 83 during single class tourney. Washington just thumped Loogootee in the Hatchet house. Craig Noodle Neal steals the ball comes down the floor and slams the ball while I was sitting right behind that basket.Yep… they got a lot of sectional titles … back in the day. … and had a big run of them in Class A
Knight literally did this in the 80s. My roommates were managers. They got off the plane from somewhere at 2am and shot free throws till 5am. They went back to practice later that morning.If I were Woodson..... as soon as they get off the bus in Btown..... I would have them on the court at the free throw lines for 48 straight hours. Our free throw shooting is terrible.
Counts in horse too. If a shot hits the backboard and bounds toward the end line … it’s a violation … before it lands out of bounds.Hall shot over the backboard should not count.
One of the worst called games I have watched this season. Bates didn’t even touch him on that layup. Guy kicked his leg for contact.The game is over so if I am Woody I get two techs ripping the living shit out of these three ****s
Unless the rule has been changed recently, that doesn’t count.Counts in horse too. If it hits the backboard and bounds toward the end line … it’s a violation … before it goes out of bounds.
It’s an intimidation ploy (in addition to being rude (poor sportsmanship)) seeking to draw a retaliation foul.Msu shouldering IU players as they walk by. These punks certainly have taken on Izzy’s personality
It counted when Jay Edwards did itUnless the rule has been changed recently, that doesn’t count.
Then the Refs missed it then, too. Understandable for today’s crew.It counted when Jay Edwards did it
FIBA Rule Book says the ball has to hit the backboard. Art. 23 p. 29Unless the rule has been changed recently, that doesn’t count.
I saw that too -- they did it throughout the game on every dead ball, all over the court.Msu shouldering IU players as they walk by. These punks certainly have taken on Izzy’s personality
Final stat on FTs:If I were Woodson..... as soon as they get off the bus in Btown..... I would have them on the court at the free throw lines for 48 straight hours. Our free throw shooting is terrible.
WOW!!!!!!!!.. If they had called Rule 33.12 today..... all the Michigan Post players would have been fouled out when guarding TJD!!!!!!! They had their Hips, Knees, Thighs.... you name it..... into TJD rooting him out.FIBA Rule Book says the ball has to hit the backboard. Art. 23 p. 29
NCAA makes one buy their rule book.

Need to have TJD feeding Race from the perimeter. Race should be getting more shots than TJD.TJD should have owned this game from the inside and fouled their bigs out. Between him and Race we are so much more talented there. Race is becoming one heck of a player and I hope he returns next year.
Trayce and Race back defenders down too. It’s the combo hook and shoulder dip that needs to be called more.
Art. 5. The following principles apply to post play and constitute fouls when
violated:
a. Neither the offense nor defense may dislodge an opponent during post play
by pushing, backing into, or using a leg, knee or arm to move an opponent
from a legally established position ( Exception: Rule 10-1.5.d);
b. A post player may establish post position with their arm(s) bent at the elbow.
A straight arm may not be used to ward off an opponent or to prevent from
legally guarding the post player;
c. The “swim stroke” may not be used by the offense or defense to reposition,
regain position, or move an opponent from a legally established position;
d. Defensive players may use one arm bar on a post player, with or without the
ball, when either the post player or the post defender or both are in the post
area. The arm bar may not be extended or used to dislodge an opponent;
and
e. Defensive players in the post are required to adhere to all other guarding
rules.
Wouldn't a Post Player "Backing Down" defenders in the Post constitute an Offensive Foul then????
(aka: Cockburn - ill, Williams - Pur)
WOW..... if the referees would actually follow the rules in this rule book.... the whole games that we are watching would be more enjoyable to watch!!!!!!!!!
