Letter from the ticket office

Yes I got mine. It will be interesting with reseating the whole stadium and some people maybe deciding to move up with the ticket tax, to see where we end up this year. I do think that the people that buy season tickets just for the points will move up to the no ticket tax areas.

I got mine. 5 years of minimum donations and season tickets pushed me into the top half of the list, probably because there are a bunch of newbs.

But my tickets have always been in what is now the highest PSD zone, and I'm going to pay the PSD, so hopefully I'll move up on selection day.

Yes, got my letter. I'm in the top 60%, just missed the top 50%. I do feel we will see some people move back. I know my daughters friend who had seats near us said she is most likely moving back from Tier 2 to Tier 3 or 4 due to the seat fee. She's a teacher and can't afford the extra $400 for her two seats. I would like to stay as close to where I was last year if possible but if enough people move back and there is an opportunity for me to move to Tier 1 then I will consider it.

Did y’all get letters this week about seat selection?
I was just outside of being in the top 50%,hopefully I’ll be able to get the level I asked for.
Yes, I got mine. I tried to get on the seat selection site just to see what
seats were available just for fun, but the site is not operational now, maybe
in May according to the ticket office.

My parents and sister's family used to all get season tickets (6 seats). Now sharing 2 seats given the price increase.

They're definitely betting on keeping the ball rolling because they're going to replace some regulars that are being priced out with fair weathers that will jump back off the second things aren't going well.

I get people don't like the price increases, but that's what comes with a better football program.

You can still get tickets for $40/game ($20/game for 18 and under, recent alumni $30/game). They may not be the best seats, but there aren't too many bad seats in Memorial Stadium. Still a pretty good deal vs. other entertainment options in the sports world.

I am wondering if there won't be a band of single game seats in between the lower and upper season tickets due to a lot of folks choosing to slide up and eliminate the fees.

Seems likely. The upper rows and corners used to be a wasteland in poorly attended games. Now those will spread out to the upper rows and corners of each zone.

I don't mind the fee so much. I did look at other programs to see what they do and the IU ticket is still a pretty good deal compared to others. At the end of the day it comes down to if the value is there for the money I'm spending. Just like anything else I would choose to spend money on. This is only my 3rd year as a season ticket holder and I moved last year so this will be my 3rd year moving seats (hopefully improving my location) so I'm not too upset with the change. I had already submitted my renewal before the seat donation was announced and I had added a ticket so not only do I have one more ticket to pay for but now 3 seat donations. Still its fairly small compared to other programs with similar fee structure. I think is aw the OSU was a $1,500 fee for their tier 1 so my little $200-$250 is small in comparison.

While where one stands percentage wise among football season ticket holders is interesting and generally reflective of when you will ultimately select seats, the actual date and time of your selections is where the rubber meets the road.
Day 1 of selection is May 6th and it appears as though the last day is May 21st with no alternating of selection weekdays. If accurate, that means 12 total selection days this year.
Good luck to all and Go Hoosiers!!!!!!

I’m pretty sure I’m on the 14th.

I was messing around with the ticket map, and it appears the students section was moved slightly this year -- lost half of section 23 and gained half of section 12.

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the new East Side Club. It was probably done to open up some more good seats to sell in section 23.

I prefer the old student section that was more on the sidelines since the north endzone is a bit far away from the field, but overall it's not a big deal.

Selection should be interesting. In 2024 it took 4000+ to be in top 10%, This year only 3148 - i am sure that had to do with increased number of ticket holders. The real issue is how many seats do the top 10% control? I know several people, like myself, that increased the number of seats. I select on day one, May 6

Does anyone know what the first selection day was last year? I am curious how many days I slid back this year by increasing the size of my group.

I’m moving back. I don’t like it, but I’ve got the product at a certain price for so many years. I just won’t pay that much. The basketball tickets already set me back $2,000 for 2!
