No more NIT, no more conference tourneys. Make it like IHSAA before class BB. Devise a system that rewards regular season conference champions, and other teams with high net ratings, with byes, home court games, etc. I'm sure this has been discussed before. Arguments?

Sounds good to me. No more whining about being screwed. I would go to 128 teams in and instead of playin games everyone plays one time to get to 64.

In some ways, they have a system like that it's just the Conference tournaments are the equivalent of the sectional. And then they add some at large "regional" teams that didn't win their conference tournament.

Everyone is already in if you count the conference tournaments. The reward for a good season and losing in the conference tournament is a double elimination.

True. However, there seems to be quite a bit of subjectivity when it comes to choosing the final 68.
