The recruitment battle of TW and LQ seemed pretty scuzzy knowing we were battling LSU and Memphis.

Thats not a group I want IU to regularly be grouped with.

Why exactly do most here assume he's headed to Memphis? Seems like he's pretty high on Indiana as well and it wouldn't surprise me either way. Am I missing something or is it just that people think Memphis is shady with their recruiting and will land him that way?

I think mainly because we've lost every recruiting battle as of late excluding Brunk.

Will you just take ANY opportunity to bash Archie? I guess so.

Is IU supposed to check out every recruit's offer list and then IMMEDIATELY withdraw from recruiting any player associated with LSU and Memphis.

Quinones is the back up to losing Brooks.

Kansas and UL have been named.
LSU has been named.
Archie’s brother is one of biggest named.


Memphis, and Kentucky, have not. Although they both have a scuzzy feel.

So if a player looks at Memphis (and commits even like Wiseman and Jeffries) a team like UK should leave them alone? Calipari actually HAD Jeffries at one point - and he wanted Wiseman BADLY.

So - you always say IU should recruit like UK.

UK recruited against Memphis for Wiseman and Jeffries.

So . . . is UK then recruiting against the "scuzzys", or not?

Lester is going to Memphis. I think we are done with this class. There's nobody out there we have a chance with. On to 2020.

Lester Q may go to Memphis but his job will be to 1) Throw the ball to Wiseman, 2) Throw the ball to Wiseman, and 3) Throw the ball to Wiseman.

Wiseman is Penny's guy and #1 player in the class according to virtually everyone. He didn't sign with Memphis to share the ball.
