Need more information. Is the cyclist a Republican ?if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault
Pretty sure the driver is at fault. Even on green you yield for pedestrians and cyclists.if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault
On the Illinois rivals board:The bartender, of course.
Drivers are never at fault. In fact, rewards are sometimes given if the bike rider has on skin tight clothes and is sporting a beer belly. Because, everyone knows it’s the baggy clothing slowing them down 😉if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault
Lol! All kidding aside when my drunk friends would call me about dwis I always told them not to believe the hype. They were no biggie. $750 to $1,000 and most the time you didn't lose your license for even a day. DWIs are nothing, at least the first go around.Drivers are never at fault. But if you have the misfortune of being involved in a crash, or god forbid hurt someone, that's when your shit can spiral fast and why you should never drink and drive. Bad stuff
This was my psa. As for Kurt fair. Prior posts not intended to be associated with kurt - the pride of star islandWhy in the world would you assume kurt was drinking?
Southern Charm Marathon on today! My opinion Chelsea was the hottest one but it seemed to fit this thread as they were all drunksThis was my psa. As for Kurt fair. Prior posts not intended to be associated with kurt - the pride of star island
Hahaha nice!! I've unfortunately got to start another work marathon. As an aside you share this with zeke. My second psa - we all have things we share and can bond over.Southern Charm Marathon on today! My opinion Chelsea was the hottest one but it seemed to fit this thread as they were all drunks
Thomas is far and away the best character on that show. shitty he's goneOMG the thought of sharing anything with Zeke! My favorite episode is Thomas walking around in the morning and knocking on Sheps door . Thomas had just found out he had knocked Kathryn up Shep is rubbing his eyes at noon and asking OMG did this just happen?
The driver is at fault, regardless of the state. It's really no different than if there was no bike lane, the cyclist was on the right, and the driver turns in front of the cyclist. Think about it - what is the cyclist supposed to do when someone turns right in front of their path?if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault

The car is obviously the culprit ... can't be the person driving it.if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault
You want to talk about a great case. If the person he hit is injured that's a HomeeeeeerunUnless your wife is the Speaker of the House.
Can't be..... it's Trumps fault. Congress is gonna investigate.I am surprised that nobody has yet expressed the opinion that Hillary Clinton is clearly at fault.
HunterI am surprised that nobody has yet expressed the opinion that Hillary Clinton is clearly at fault.
I guess it depends on whether the cyclist died. If so, it would clearly go on the Clinton body count.Hunter
Nahhh. It would be blamed on The Jab.I guess it depends on whether the cyclist died. If so, it would clearly go on the Clinton body count.
100% the driver. Bikers are to be treated as cars and you should thank them for helping with traffic. Check you blind spot then turn… it’s not that hard.if you are driving down the road in chicgao , light is green you turn right a person onn a bike in the bike lane hits you in the quarter panel , whos at fault
I dont see all those bikers firing down Milwaukee blowing through lights and stop signs making it impossible to turn in January here in Chicago. They don’t seem to be riding around on their faggy bikes then. No I’m those months it seems they have alternative forms of transportation.100% the driver. what if the cyclist hits the back bumper of the vehicle? obviously they saw the car turn. bikes need taken off the roads, cop said 4th car-bike incident this weekThe driver is at fault, regardless of the state. (I am assuming that the cyclist was proceeding in the same direction as the car and hit the right quarter panel, front or rear, of the car.)
On your drunk nights you should wear a gopro and livestream it on herea 12k bike, what is wrong with the world. if you can afford a trek why the hell are you riding a bike
Bikers should obey traffic and stop signs/lights like everyone else. Same as cars in Chicago, but they don’t always obey the traffic grid either, so it’s kind of a wash.I dont see all those bikers firing down Milwaukee blowing through lights and stop signs making it impossible to turn in January here in Chicago. If you want to ride your faggy bike in Chicago, we have 30 miles of lake front trail, go ride it there. Stay off the streets.
Imagine all Chicago bikers adding to the already miserable congestion in Chicago by being in cars.what if the cyclist hits the back bumper of the vehicle? obviously they saw the car turn. bikes need taken off the roads, cop said 4th car-bike incident this week
So you're suggesting the guy decided to total his $12K bike on purpose?what if the cyclist hits the back bumper of the vehicle? obviously they saw the car turn. bikes need taken off the roads, cop said 4th car-bike incident this week
something you can't see comes from behind you and hits you in the ass after you have signaled, you're going to turn, makes no sense cars and bikes don't belong on the same road.So you're suggesting the guy decided to total his $12K bike on purpose?
Cyclist has the right of way. You lose.
And cyclists have the exact same right to be on the road as cars.
But, drivers who can't follow simple traffic rules do need to be taken off the road.
It's a problem. The best thing you can do is if you pass one, you never lose sight of it until you've left it far behind. I drive around Bton all day and have to be hyper vigilant.something you can't see comes from behind you and hits you in the ass after you have signaled, you're going to turn, makes no sense cars and bikes don't belong on the same road.
Bikers just claim the same road rights as you:something you can't see comes from behind you and hits you in the ass after you have signaled, you're going to turn, makes no sense cars and bikes don't belong on the same road.
not saying they don't by law, but it would be a helluva lot safer if they were in the middle of the road, there is a reason you can't fly a drone at the airportSo you're suggesting the guy decided to total his $12K bike on purpose?

Finally, I agree with something you said, maybe there is hope we can all unite in the good ole USABikers just claim the same road rights as you:
You hit them - your fault
They hit you - your fault
You ignore them when they don’t signal - your fault

With Colorado’s comparative negligence statute, you might skate if you had a turn signal on and the bike overtook you instead of Vice versa. If you overtook the bike, good luck.something you can't see comes from behind you and hits you in the ass after you have signaled, you're going to turn, makes no sense cars and bikes don't belong on the same road.
sounds like you could see the same scenario as what happened, if I'm on a bike id make damn sure before I just go because the light is greenWith Colorado’s comparative negligence statute, you might skate if you had a turn signal on and the bike overtook you instead of Vice versa. In general, i Think bicyclists must ride where they can be seen. Then ride like you are not seen.
I won't ride on a street that has a bike lane between a parking lane and the curb. A driver cannot see you if cars or vans are parked and you cant see the moving cars from the bike lane. Denver is building those kinds of lanes now and I think they are a mistake. .
Traffic circles are also dangerous. I won’t ride in the bike/walk ramp through the circle. i always move into a traffic lane when I’m going straight or left.
At a controlled intersection, I won’t use the bike lane if a car signals a right turn and I’m going straight. I stop in the traffic lane.
