I felt we wouldn't begin to have a handle on what this team is about until after the Maui Classic. With that milestone now finished, what I've figured out so far is that the team is basically sound, but there are just a few trouble spots we need to clear up. We need to improve:
•free-throw shooting
•making layups
•playing defense
•ball handling
•decision-making
•rebounding
•passing
•communication
•hustle
•coaching
If we can just tighten those things up, hopefully before we play Duke, I feel this can be a really satisfying season.
