Last win for a while if we play like this. No way

We beat a Big 10 team with this kind of effort. 1-20 from three. How the hell is that possible for a D1 team?
I just don't understand how we can be so bad at 3 pt shooting, and, at home, yet! And our 3 pt sharpshooter goes 1-9. Hit's his first one, and then misses 8 in a row. Unbelievable! If I was the coach, at the end of practice, I'd have them standing at the three point line, shooting 3's, and not let them leave until each man has hit, say, 5 in a row, and, at least, 12 for 20. Maybe that would make each of them concentrate, and perfect their shooting skill. Didn't Coach Knight do something like that with free throws?

Guarantee most of our players hit 70+ % of their unguarded threes in practice. This is now probably a combination of mental issues, pressing, and Woodsons offense not adequately producing in rhythm shots. A decent amount of our looks were pretty open. But, for some reason, they didn’t and haven’t gone down. Goode, Mgbako, Galloway, Leal, etc… didn’t forget how to shoot. And Rice and Carlyle also showed themselves to be more capable shooters at their previous programs.

When you’re in year 4, and the narrative isn’t changing with regards to 3 point shooting…it’s the coaching.

Woodson's post game comments with Fisch stressed that they're getting good looks, but they're just not knocking them down. I'm tired of hearing about all these good looks.

Indiana has shot 24-of-107 in the last 5 games and been outscored by 39 from three in those games.

It's on the coach at this point. We might go 2-7 in January.

Woodson needs to go but we had a ton of goode looks tonight can't blame him for them missing everything, what's more concerning is the defense, good teams at home breaks wintrops spirit early and cruise to a 20 point plus win

I mean, several of them were good shots, but it doesn't matter how good the shot is if the kid you recruited to shoot threes keeps missing them.

Woody, those kids who keep missing wide open threes are on this team because you recruited them, pal.

100%
Goode averaged around 6pts/game at Illinois. It's not like he was their offensive keystone or something. Tucker can't hit them, nor can Gallo do it consistently. Mack is really the only guy who when he lets one go, you expect it to go down.

My high school coach had us make 8/10 FTs after practice before leaving. Shoot them when you are tired.

Yeah, Goode is getting to be a bit of a head scratcher. I thought he'd probably lead the team in 3pt shooting %, but agree Mac's stroke looks great. Sadly, like Gordon and Anunoby, we'll probably be watching his most productive years in the NBA. Whole team and season is a mess and waste. DMWS.

Dead Man Walking Season... no point in getting upset about play. Sadly, this is just a wasted season and I think CMW knows it. He's happy with collecting the remainder of his contract. At this point, if I was AD, I'd try and negotiate a settlement to fire him now. It's obvious the players aren't going to play hard for him and this season is a sinking ship.

I’m not kidding about the chant if we are losing vs Rutgers. I’m gonna make sure it gets real awkward in the hall if we keep this shit up.

You should start warming up your vocals and practicing your chant. The team could surprise us, but nothing to indicate Rutgers is going to be a good game for us. Count on wide open looks by them at three and same 'ol boring ass offense by IU and brick after brick from three.

What's the chant you are planning? I'd like to have a backup plan for the game in case I watch. You know, rather than actually watching our play.

I’m not big on firing a coach mid season , besides which assistant would you want coaching the team the rest of the season . The best thing to do is let this train wreck run its course , while putting out feelers to possible coaches for next year . Once the season is over and at the soonest appropriate time name the new coach . At the top of my wish list would be Brad Stevens , he got his NBA championship , so maybe he would like to come home to Indiana and win a few national championships .

Absolutely no chance. Zero. Point. Zero.

well, imagine a horse race where the bell goes off and the gates all open, and then one horse just mosies out slowly, and you look and say: "lookey there! That horse wasn't ready to go today!"

That may explain it. Chronically I'll prepared mentally and/or physically for making shots. It's either that or Mike, who was a good shooter, has no idea how to recruit one to play at Indiana.

They have Jordan Hulls and Calbert Cheaney to help out with mechanics. There's got to be something else going on.

Fire Woodson, clap clap, clap clap clap.

You know like last name chants we haven’t heard in assembly hall in a decade when a player goes off.

“Thomas Bryant, clap clap, clap clap clap” prob last one.

Who is big on firing a coach mid-season? Obviously it's not desirable, but when you have a player (with pictures) rumored to be out playing blackjack until 3am on a game night, and then another supposedly drinking late to the point he can't play (and honestly I didn't believe this, but if you watch Woodson's post game, it sure makes it sound like it was something non-bball), and just the overall crap, lackadaisical play, I think it's time. Not because you hope an interim is going to magically right the season, but just to say "this is unacceptable for IU basketball!".

Woody deserves more praise than we’re giving him. He’s building something special and it’s taking a little more time than most would like. Let’s give him 2-3 more years before overreacting.
