No new gigs for Kelvin. He will retire and lobby for his son to continue at Houston.I'm not sure Sampson leaves, but there will certainly be some major coaching spots to fill in the coming few years.
how many schools would you consider "blue blood"and how many just "top jobs"?It wasn't only texting that got him in trouble. They were setting up 3 way calls for him while he was banned/restricted from doing so. Also kids weren't going to class and there was a known culture problem.
If there were levels of cheating, his would obviously be considered on the minor side, especially now. But his lackluster and arrogant approach to being on probation is what turned me off.
To answer your question, he won't ever land a blue blood job again, but I think he could get a top job someday. Or he might just like it on Houston and stay there. He's what, like 60yrs old by now?
