That’s all well and good, but let me know when someone in office, or running for office does that, then you can call them a republican with a backbone. There aren’t many out there. From the few I know of, republicans aren’t too fond of backbone with how those folks are treated. It doesn’t take any balls to be a plain old citizen republican and say you don’t like Trump or won’t vote for him.
It's pretty wild how so many people are bending the knee to Trump. Amazon just paid $40 million to produce a documentary and series on Melania. Who the hell wants to see that?

I'm not really defending the Obamas - or any political figures here. I stand by my statement that no one is clamoring for a Melania documentary. Melania's book sold very poorly. I don't know how the Obamas multimedia stuff sells, but I seem to remember Michelle's book selling well.

The snub I didn't understand was why did both Clintons snub W and Laura? W stood up to greet Hillary and she went out of her way to speak to everyone else. She sat next to him and wouldn't look at him.

People like Obama get special gifts, called Book deals and speaking appearances. There are line items in the DNC/soros/US Navy budgets, called "shadow opps". It's been well reported. That is how these deals get funded.
