Kaleb Banks

Maybe this is a prime example of what it used to be like 20-30 years ago. Watch & learn your first 2 years to be a good player your Jr & Sr years. I will always root for anybody that put on a IU uniform, even if for just one season. Go IU!!

PS. Maybe we should be more patent with the younger players and let them learn the system.

Don't think it's really an IU decision, I assume he had a spot back and decided it was best for him to go elsewhere. But, I'd agree that maybe we shouldn't pile on guys like Cupps who decided to come back and appears to have done nothing but work his tail off. Those guys can have valuable roles even if it's only on the practice floor and as a locker room influence.

In 3 games this season, young man is putting up some sick stats for Tulane.

19 ppg
11 rpg
11-19 from 3
Only 1 turnover committed.

Pretty amazing, especially the shooting.
I don’t remember him even taking a 3 here?

He did hit that important shot b4 halftime vs p-u.
Glad he is doing well.
Geronimo seems to be struggling at Maryland. Comes off the bench. Had hoped for better for him.

In 3 games this season Banks is 11 for 19 on 3’s. Guess he can shoot….

I was always a Banks fan. He never seemed to get playing time due to his inconsistent play. That play could have also been due to lack of playing time. But I like his game and his potential. Geronimo I think, found out last year it might have been him and not the coach or offensive style. Season is early but I think this year proves it. When he was signed as a recruit, with Oladipo comparisons, I knew that was the kiss of death for him.

Geronimo is stuck in no mans land. Too small to play a big 4, doesn't shoot well enough to play small stretch 4 and can't guard wings or big guards.

Woody can always pay him to come back for his senior season.

I hope Kaleb does well, but need to see more results, notably against better opponents, before drawing any conclusions.

Good coaching

Or maybe it's because Tulane played NAIA powerhouse Louisiana Christian, kenpom #353 Alcorn St, and #331 ULM.

And when he played Furman, kenpom #145, he sadly was a no show by going 2-4 and 0 3 point attempts and only 3 rebounds.

I want the kid to be great and successful, but to claim his improved play against 3, ummmm, subpar teams is due to coaching is ridiculous.

Facts don't matter when you have an agenda.
