Maybe this is a prime example of what it used to be like 20-30 years ago. Watch & learn your first 2 years to be a good player your Jr & Sr years. I will always root for anybody that put on a IU uniform, even if for just one season. Go IU!!

PS. Maybe we should be more patent with the younger players and let them learn the system.

Don't think it's really an IU decision, I assume he had a spot back and decided it was best for him to go elsewhere. But, I'd agree that maybe we shouldn't pile on guys like Cupps who decided to come back and appears to have done nothing but work his tail off. Those guys can have valuable roles even if it's only on the practice floor and as a locker room influence.

I really thought he'd make a big jump in his sophomore year.

Glad he's doing well at Tulane. Always seemed like a great kid.

Don't think it's really an IU decision, I assume he had a spot back and decided it was best for him to go elsewhere.
