Bummer...but not a shocker.

To quote the legendary Mike Davis, "He'll always be a part of the Hoosier family."

Yeah, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that he probably would...

sign with the Red Sox. It doesn't take an Einstein to know that the more successful a program is, you're going to attract recruits that are also probably going to go fairly high in the draft. Sustain the program at the current level and we are going to lose more recruits like this down the road, which is fine with me.

Yep.

Crean's job is to get one and dones. Skip's job is to get none and dones. Funny, isn't it?

How do programs like Arizona, LSU, Florida and Texas handle it?

I mean if they kill on the recruiting trail and signed a bunch of studs, they could lose their whole class to the draft.

Do they recruit some studs and then some that they don't think will be drafted high enough to go?

Does the kids possible draft status play into their thinking when on the recruiting trail? I assume it would have to.

As with any good, established program, they recruit enough quality..

depth, that losing a recruit or two to the draft doesn't impact them significantly. Hopefully, we are at that point also, and I think we are.
