Watched the video Q&A of him and he still seems like the guy you'd want your daughter to bring home. Glad to have him back in Btown! Sounds like he is in the gym with the guys, but not sure on restrictions for player contact in his role (someone mentioned this). But, it does sound like he's around them and that's a positive. I wonder how he'll do as a recruiter though?

A relatively young guy who can still ball has got to be able to connect with recruits at some level.
If this team is very good, likely the assistants will be looked at by other schools looking for an HC (Kenya probably). Hulls would no doubt move up into the vacancy although he will have to prove himself recruiting this year.
I'm very interested to see how Lewis does at BS.

What a story that would be. Bloomington native. Plays HS ball for hometown school. Plays for IU full four years. Plays pro ball for nine years. Return to alma mater and after working his way up the coaching ranks to become HC, brings IU back to glory by hanging a sixth banner.

If IU is gonna stay “in house” you gotta be thinking Michael Lewis has a leg up on everyone. Besides, I like Lewis’ feisty demeanour. Hulls was a great shooter and good competitor, but would he throw a ball into the face of a defender, while inbounding? Lewis would even get into a shouting match with Knight during the game. Moxie, I tell ya!

Yah, I'm dreaming, but at 74 things need to speed up for me. Hope Woody hangs number six during his tenure.
