I bought tickets in the upper deck at Sparty where I thought the visiting section was. Instead, I was basically the only IU fan in a sea of Sparty: interesting experience, unlike anything I have experienced at a sporting event. All of the IU fans were on the other side of the stadium. I got a little antsy in the 1st quarter, and then IU started executing on offense and totally shut MSU down. It was surreal watching the home team stop cheering and feeling the air let out of their balloon while IU could do no wrong. I didn't know something like this was possible, but that is Cig.

Sparty fans were pretty nice. Nobody really gave me a hard time.

There also. Spartan fans were a little testy early on, but they came around to my thinking as the game went on, lol.

We’re not alone in changed thinking. Reading posts on the UM boards yesterday, I found the majority thinking IU would win and even beat the spread. They were generally an intelligent and respectful bunch I might add (with exceptions of course as with any forum). 🙂
