It's only gonna be a high of 51 Friday, but it's definitely gonna be a grill night. Not sure what I'm throwing down on the barbie yet, but I think I'm gonna make my first ever batch of ceviche. Looking forward to this. I've been wanting to check out Deviate Brewery around the corner from me so I think I'll pick up a growler. And I'll def be watching with Mrs. Eppy, the three Eppy girls, and the Eppy pooch. I cannot wait!

1) pizza party with wife adding some tasty appetizers like donkey balls and massive queso dip and chips

2) Miller Fortune

3) Home with about 12 friends and family. One of the friends' son is a frosh playing in Pep Band--LUCKY DUDE

Trying to get my cousin and my BIL to meet me at a bar somewhere.....hell anywhere but home where my kids will most likely hear curse word combinations that haven't been invented yet.

No bites yet but I'm trying.....if so, then most likely draft beer and mounds of wings.

Devieate Brewery? You live on the northwest side? Let me know how it is...I've driven by a couple of times but haven't stopped to try their brews.

I can practically walk there. I have no idea how the beer is, but I'd like to support the local guy.
 
1. I'll grill wings, but won't eat them, because I don't eat.

2. Beer, whiskey shots.

3. Alone. At my house. I need plenty of room to pace and I need Don Fischer on in another room.

Wanna know a fun trivia fact about me:

My first year at IU I got season tickets with 3 other dudes. I hated every second of it because they were late to games. One their phones during the game and they tried to talk to me during games. Please don't talk to me during the games.

So the next 3 years I got season tickets .... alone.

That's how I roll.

1) Probably nothing since Little Bigman, Littler Bigman and myself arrive in California on flight about 2 hours before tipoff.

2) Probably an Ommegang since my dad usually buys me that when we come to visit.

3) My folks' place in California. Unfortunately on the same TV where I saw Syracuse's zone end our season 3 years ago. However I'll be live this time, where that was on DVR, hoping that cancels out any bad mojo.

Thinking of making the ride to Philly, but I don't really want to buy 4 tickets for family members who have hardly watched a game this year but would be mucho disappointed if I left them behind, so probably at home. Every watering hole around here will be predominantly UNC fans. And I don't really like being that guy anymore.

There is an Italian Restaurante & Wine Bar that could possibly be accommodating. In which case, upgrade that tea to a Sauvignon or Chianti.

I'll be drinking Captain and Diet's along with a fair amount of shots.
Moe & Johnny's.

I was going to be at Broad Ripple Tavern, where I watched the previous two, but my friend's wife moved his birthday get together from Saturday (his birthday) to Friday.

Deviate is probably the most unique brewery in town. They only do very small batch brewing, and some really off the wall things.

They wanted to be a nano brewery for beer geeks, they aren't going after mass appeal. They don't do a lot of repeats on their beers, so if you find one you like, enjoy it while it lasts.

Financially, I'm not sure how feasible the business model is, but hopefully they stick around.

Oh also Eppy, I don't think Deviate does growlers. Might call and check, maybe they've changed.

They literally don't make enough to sell outside of pints in the taproom.

Miller Facking Fortune!? I thought that was just some weird prank by MillerCoors. What's next? Someone telling me Blue Moon is their favorite "craft" beer?

I'm not cooking. My cousins will be in town and we're doing something for dinner at my parents' place. Her cooking....well I usually offer to grill something when I'm over there.

I just picked up a couple 6 packs of Founders' Mosaic Promise which just hit the shelves this morning. I've only had it on draft a few times but I love it. I'll likely be drinking that. And perhaps a Daisy Cutter or two. I picked up a 4 pack of that, too.

Unless I go out for the game. I'd rather stay home but I may have to watch somewhere with my buddy who I went to the IU/Kentucky game with. In which case I'll drink whatever the best IPA or pale ale is.

I'm wondering/hoping that MP shows up down here. We killed my keg of clone in about ten days (albeit tourney week)....and I'm going to do another double batch this weekend. But that's 4 weeks away from being ready.

I'd love to comprare to the real deal, which I haven't had.

I'm wondering/hoping that MP shows up down here. We killed my keg of clone in about ten days (albeit tourney week)....and I'm going to do another double batch this weekend. But that's 4 weeks away from being ready.

I'd love to comprare to the real deal, which I haven't had.

If you're inside Founders' footprint then you should get it. The place where I bought it probably had at least 10 cases, so they obviously brewed a lot. It shouldn't be hard to come by.

Nah, there's a time and a place for your favorite macro lager. For me it's pretty much limited to Old Style at Wrigley.

It's only gonna be a high of 51 Friday, but it's definitely gonna be a grill night. Not sure what I'm throwing down on the barbie yet, but I think I'm gonna make my first ever batch of ceviche. Looking forward to this. I've been wanting to check out Deviate Brewery around the corner from me so I think I'll pick up a growler. 1) I'll be out to dinner at a world cafe beforehand for a friend's birthday, so whatever looks best on that day's menu.

2) I'll be at a bar TBD by tipoff, but my guess is quite a bit of Founders and Lakefront if it's where I expect. Shots will depend on how the game's going.

1) Nothing, fast food drive-in late on the way home.

2) Probably 312 Urban Ale because for some reason they stock that where I'll be, and it's the only beer they have other than the typical Bud Light, etc. and it's decent.

3) Won't be watching the game, I'll be playing a gig at a shitty, smokey VFW hall that doesn't have a TV near enough to the stage to watch while I play, so I'll be checking scores on breaks on my phone while I stand outside huffing some clean air and getting my eyes to quit watering from the extreme second-hand smoke.

Yeah, I'm not excited about it.

Wanna know a fun trivia fact about me:

My first year at IU I got season tickets with 3 other dudes. I hated every second of it because they were late to games. One their phones during the game and they tried to talk to me during games. Please don't talk to me during the games.

So the next 3 years I got season tickets .... alone.

This is me. I cannot watch, or certainly go with a casual fan or friend, unless it's a game I know we will win by 20 points. I need to be able to pace also, sometimes in the hall at AH. I get a little out of control and a casual friend would prob no longer be a friend after attending a close game with me.
