Same lineup for Indiana today except for a keeper change. True freshman Sarah L'Hommedieu is out and redshirt freshman Bristal Hadley-Mautino is in. Interesting.

Western Michigan's back line has made a pair of mistakes early on today. The last one in the third minute just now gave Abby Allen a shot on goal but it was a weak effort right at the keeper.

Western Michigan responds with a shot that flies JUST over the net. Bristal Hadley-Mautino, who I am now going to call BHM, didn't have to move but definitely had a little scare.

12' - Abby Allen put a nice service in along the goal line but nobody was home. I liked her a lot last year before suffering an ACL tear. She's maybe the most electric player up top right now.

15' - Big scare for Indiana. Western Michigan played a ball along the line that should have been finished by one, maybe two forwards. Somehow nobody got to it.

20' Cassidy Blacha put a shot on goal but it made for an easy save. At least the Hoosiers are making the Broncos work. That's a good sign. But there's just no sort of planned attack working for IU right now. Everything is a jumbled mess in transition, it seems. Which is fine. That works sometimes. But they need to piece together a plan

HALFTIME: Indiana 0, Western Michigan 0.

That wasn't the prettiest half of soccer. IU had five shots, Western Michigan six. Indiana made three saves, Western Michigan two. None were that dramatic.

The good news for Indiana is that the defense looked about as strong as ever. The back line had a few too many mistakes against Louisville.

The bad news for Indiana is that the offense didn't look too spectacular.

Meghan Scott almost headed one in for Western Michigan. She was trying to stop a shot attempt, headed it straight into the cross bar. Really lucky break. Still scoreless with 36 minutes left.
