IU's defense is so awful and shows no signs of improvement. Fundament mistakes, no communication and lack of effort are IU's only defensive consistencies.

Barely defeating a very depleted Michigan team at home isn't progress.

All part of the 13 year plan. Don't fret. Keep trying. Your agenda is now well known DWS. This is why we can't put teams away no defense at all. We have to hope teams miss shots Like today, Michigan missed a few lay ups at we may be looking at a loss. We never "stop" anyone. I am a defensive HS coach and watching IU drives me nuts!! My team even knows not switch big/guard screens due to the mismatch. IU does this all the time!

Numbers weren't good but clearly much better before Hanner

got hurt. And I don't think it has much to do with Hanner's defensive ability, but rather the defensive strategy IU has taken to try to compensate for the loss has made them worse defensively. Between gambling too much trying to front the post, as well as focusing on boxing out well before a shot is put up (as a result letting players drive right to the hole with our backs turned) has really hurt IU. I hope Coach Crean can scratch those "adjustments" once Hanner is back in the mix.
