IU got a commitment from in-state 6-3 wing Maya Makalusky who plays at Hamilton Southeastern. Among her offers were Butler (her older sister is entering her freshman season there), Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and Ohio State. During her soph year, she averaged 15.4 ppg, 3.9 rebs, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals. She had a game high 29-points against Pike in the regular-season final. She is a 46% shooter and was 40% from behind the arc.
