IU vs. GA

Darn. Seems like we were close to a commitment. He would have more competition at UGA, but it’s a huge program and maybe Beck isn’t looking too good.

I don’t think he has visited UGA yet, maybe they want to see if they can get him on campus after the dead period.

We may still get him, but I wonder what our Plan B is.

Don't see much reason why he won't just go for the highest bid. Maybe a small discount for his brother being here and if he thinks our situation better prepares him or showcases him. But the amount of money they may be talking, might be a difference of half a million or up at stake. Can't bank on the pros until your there and still healthy.

Maybe we can get Tayven back.

Maybe Beck stays in school. His draft stock isn't all that high.
Beck just had Tommy John surgery today and isn’t coming off the best of years. Not sure he’s even a day 2 pick at this point. Not sure how healthy he’s going to be next year and why Georgia is moving more aggressively at the last minute.

Georgia doesn’t make sense to me.

Beck should return unless he gets bad advice.

Then they have Stockton, the 5 star, who if he plays well in the CFP and Beck leaves, would be on track to be their starter.

Maybe Fernando is just checking his value. Maybe it is just an agent like the Beebe kid. Who knows but it seems it is not done yet.

Wrong. Tommy John surgery isn’t wrist surgery like Beck had.

I wonder if Mendoza is waiting on the result of the UGA ND game. If Gunner has an awesome game, Mendoza comes here. If Gunner fails, UGA will be back up the Brinks for Mendoza.

UGA rev share + NIL is probably around 50% to 100% more than IU's. This doesn't mean we can't get aggressive and be competitive for one player like Mendoza, but honestly they have quite a bit more money for their FB program.
