Good effort. Inexplicably bad no call on Rices shot. That’s one of the easiest angles and calls in all of basketball. Right in front of the baseline ref.

If Malik isn’t healthy, go with Hatton. And don’t ever play any of the 3 bigs together at the same time.

They finally called a few moving screens out top. Problem is they do it on every possession.

Gallo and Leal playing hard every second of the game. Feel bad they won’t get to play in NCAA tourney. Rice is a million dollar bench rider choker who flopped at the end of each of the last two games. Ballo missed critical free throws. And Mike slept through the entire thing. I’m so sick of this wasted season.

Rice got fouled. But would have strongly preferred the ball in Gallos hands there. He was making strong moves through people all half. That’s what you need in that situation. Rice is soft. Clearly a foul, but he also flopped a little. Give yourself a chance at an and 1 making a strong damn move.

Contrast with TKR. Tough turnaround hook. Got bumped with the body a little, finished the play strong and made the shot. Rice was anticipating contact, folded when he got bumped. I like Rice, glad we have him, but he was awful tonight.

I guess from that perspective it was a good outcome. Not an embarrassing blowout but nothing that provides any reason to keep him. Was still hoping we’d pull it off though, especially against PU.
