FWIW, the projections at D-1Softball already had NW in and hosting as the B1G champs with IU in the field.

Oh so close today and they led for much of 6 innings before having the Wildcats come back on them in that last inning.

That is indeed the case--IND takes on LOU in the Knoxville Regional (Friday, 3PM ET, ESPN2).

NW does indeed host a regional, MINN and NEB make the field.
