DEI the first to go?

According to multiple sources, Deputy Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator Mattie White was among the employees laid off.

White spent 19 years in the department, working her way up through academic and student services to a senior administrative role during Fred Glass’ tenure. She was elevated to her current position as one of Athletic Director Scott Dolson’s deputies in 2020, when Dolson was promoted to AD as Glass’ replacement.

Bye Felicia !

I'm not sure how some of the non revenue sports survive this rev share decision.
Hell of a thing if football gets capped and the money floods left-handed sports. Sec of Ed sounded like the uswnt saying it’s just not fair bc the women athletes work just as hard.

But that wasn’t the genesis of any of this stuff. Didn’t it all go back to o bannon. Schools making a buttload of money off the top players. Their likeness. Well that certainly isn’t the non revenue athletes. Female or male. Title IX is a mess

We went to a Big Head Todd concert last year.

If you drink enough, you'll find all of them acceptable in some way or another.

Hitting up MCL Cafeteria for dinner on the way there? Or is the concert actually dinner theater there?
🤣. He came out wearing Nike clouds. A water bottle next to him. Sensible. Periodically the lights would come on and you’d hear a collective sigh. I remember when the Dave matthews band opened for them. Columbus oh 94. Not long after Dave blew up and big head Todd became the Jenny jones show house band. Ya just never know

Just seeing this...driving down to a Bama ID Camp all day.

Big Head Todd is OK with me. They weren't overly huge in Dallas in the early 90's, but did OK. They kinda bordered on that Alt County edge that I kinda dig...little crunchy as well (didn't they do Horde Fest? Maybe?). Kinda consider them like Blind Melon or Counting Crows...or even Hootie. Dallas kinda had it's own scene in the 90's when they were hitting, so there's lots of bands like these that just got glossed over a bit compared to the local Metroplex faves.

I'd go see them with a crew like you did, but probably wouldn't drive an hour up to Indy unprovoked to see them unless a friend or group wanted to.

They always sounded like good dudes though, right? A fun show?
