Like you, I’m appalled by it all. Woodson is now currently so deep in a hole he dug for himself that it’ll be nearly impossible to escape. He’s had every resource given, it seems, and he’s out of excuses now.
A pet peeve I have is that there is a certain group of fans, a very loud group (a minority?) that are never satisfied with anything other than blowout wins. But whatever. Coach Cig has shown we can turn all this around very quickly, so lets get the ball rolling.

I love Woody, the player, and even a bit of the coach for wanting the best for IU. But he simply hasn't been able to navigate the Noah level floods of bad faith admin, behind the IU mens ball program. It's time to move on. To day or at the end of the year are immaterial. The next coach search has already started and it REALLY needs to a good one.
I still love my Hoosier Basketball, but Woody is done. I don't expect a Basketball Cig, those are harder to find than a living octopus in Tucson dirt.
There is literally NOTHING that we do better today, than we did in August of last year. That is total systemic Breakdown, even beyond the Buyden admin level (maybe).

I’m hopeful that that perfect candidate is out there and Dolson can land him. Was Cignetti on anybody’s list to replace Allen? What percentage of IU fans would have picked Kalen DeBoer over Curt Cignetti? What percentage had even heard of Curt Cignetti?
