If IU doesn’t cover this team at home then a new low has been reached by the IU program.
I don't think it's possible to go any lower than the Louisville game. that was as embarrassing of a loss as I can remember. and it pretty much signaled to the non-believers than Woodson can't coach.
Alford's Nevada team beat them by 16. It was Nevada's first game of the year. 13.5 seems kinda low to me but I haven't read or looked at anything about Sam Houston State.
Okay but Louisville has an RPI of 33 and it was on a neutral court. Sam Houston has an RPI of 189 and at home.
They do have a couple guys that can shoot the 3 so hope they don’t go wild with our defense.
Those shooters will be left wide open from three and will have career nights. I mean we have seen 3 defense the past 3 years and 7 games. It hasn't changed. If they can shoot the 3 ... game on ... and IU ends up in a close game. That should really help their NET rankings. 😂
That said I just bet 1100 on it. 13.5 is stupid
Louisville had a cobbled together roster that was put together in about a month, a new coach. we returned 3 starters and 1 of the top portal classes and a coach in his 4th year. at one point we were down 40 getting dunked on by shaggy and getting laughed at. if we can go lower, I don't want to see it

I don’t follow the spreads but last year did we have a better cover percentage at home vs neutral and away or were they about the same?
That’s what I thought also. They tended to cover at home and nothing has changed with coaching so I would bet the same this season until proven differently.
Stupid which way. I think I might take the 13.5
6’ 5” guards that shoot 40% plus will probably kill our 3 point defense. And if they should miss they will probably win half the long rebounds and rise/repeat.
I took a quick look and think they were about 10-8 against the spread at home but this includes early season games when they were way overrated.
I remember when he was named coach one of his sportscaster buddies on ESPN said-Indiana fans don’t deserve Mike Woodson as coach. I guess this was in response to grumbling at the time that he had no college experience etc. The sportscaster was right in the opposite sense. We didn’t deserve Mike Woodson as coach.
Last year's preseason was pretty bad too. Squeaking by some awful teams. Not quite early Archie bad but bad.
They are guard heavy and live behind the arch. Making 9-10 a game at around a 40% click. Our big's shouldn't have it hard, unless we get lazy on the boards'
In years past this would be easy money…definitely the correct bet.
Now…they have to finish it
