But I watched the whole game. Did you? In fact, I watch all of EVERY game. Good comeback fellas.
I lived a lot of ABA Pacer games with Jerry Baker over my 9-volt transistor radio. It was good on the radio 📻..

Amen...to all of thatOf course. Watch them all. Learned a long while ago not to make comments during the game, or else look stupid. Great game from Trey, and really happy to see Leal hit that shot to win it, pls a couple FTs to ice it.
Wins are cool. OSU is also f*****g terrible. Once we stopped sleepwalking, it was a different game.Watched the last 30seconds, its always good to get a W against OhSht. My feeling though about this team is bleeh! Ive been more in tune with the Butler vs 1Uconn game! Refs letting Uconn push and hack tf out of Butler with very few calls!
Just me or do you all think that this will be listed as a bad loss on OSU resume?
All the cigarette smoke left a nice haze in the Colsiueum...I lived a lot of ABA Pacer games with Jerry Baker over my 9-volt transistor radio.
No Peacock for me. Glad they were able to overcome. Score and highlights of 1st half looked bad.But I watched the whole game. Did you? In fact, I watch all of EVERY game. Good comeback fellas.
“Darkest day . . . . “Just me or do you all think that this will be listed as a bad loss on OSU resume?
I miss him doing the IHSAA tournament. Rakestraw gets on my nerves.I lived a lot of ABA Pacer games with Jerry Baker over my 9-volt transistor radio.
Was more than looks. It was terrible. No Peacock for me. Glad they were able to overcome. Score and highlights of 1st half looked bad.
OSU doesn’t have a resume. They are toast.Just me or do you all think that this will be listed as a bad loss on OSU resume?
Gotta give Woody and Coaches a lot of credit for this one. They called some really good stuff coming down the stretch. Not sure why we don’t always run our offense that way. Great action to get Trey going in to the lane.
Last play call for Leal was really good. Like a real multi optioned play that had guys in the right spots.
Just wish we always played how we did the last 10 minutes.
Slick Leonard and Darnell Hillman in the old fieldhouse.I lived a lot of ABA Pacer games with Jerry Baker over my 9-volt transistor radio.
Usually you can see either full game or at least some highlights on youtube. No Peacock for me. Glad they were able to overcome. Score and highlights of 1st half looked bad.
I wouldn’t have. That was a great play call. Had they not helped off Leal, they probably had Trey driving to the rim. And/or a lob to Ware if his man stepped over on Galloway at all.I agree, woody and the coaches pulled all the right levers in the second half, especially considering they were down 18 on the road. Wow, what a comeback.
I’ll say this though: it’s so good that Leal hit the last shot, for had he not, I’m sure the couch coaches here would’ve lit him up for calling Leal’s number on a night where he only scored one point.

Only thing I didn’t like late in that game were the offensive rebounds we gave up. With Ware, Reneau, and Mgbako in the game…and 2 6’5 guards as well, we shouldn’t give up many offensive rebounds.
He was probably the 2nd or 3rd option on that play .. but the only one OSU didn't take away. The player who doubled down on that drive by Trey probably made a huge mistake.. still huge shot. Happy for Leal ... he getting chances and making an impact.I agree, woody and the coaches pulled all the right levers in the second half, especially considering they were down 18 on the road. I turned it off with about 2 minutes gone in the second half. Down 18.But I watched the whole game. Did you? In fact, I watch all of EVERY game. Good comeback fellas.

Well he was wide open ..... did the even get a hand up? OSU either didn't respect him or that was a huge blunder by the player who was supposed to check him.Yes. Option play and Trey made the right call.
He was still able to recover enough to effect Anthony’s shot a little. He had to put a little more arc on it than his normal shot, I believe.Well he was wide open ..... did the even get a hand up? OSU either didn't respect him or that was a huge blunder by the player who was supposed to check him.
It's nice to be on this end of a come back .. probably too little, too late though.

I'm not so sure of that .. unless Holtmann decided on a huge gamble. Unguarded 3pt shots go up to like 60+ percent compared to mid 30 on average. I need to watch that whole play again. Leal was wide open, as open as anyone can be or was he?... I still think the player bit too hard on Trey's drive and still doubt it was what their coach wanted.. but who knows. Good plays don't always work, and bad plays still create baskets .. most often you can't really tell without knowing what the coach planned.OSU made the exact right choice on defense. They doubled the hot hand on Galloway’s drive, and ignored the cold shooter in Leal. I’m sure they’re confident in their decision and wouldn’t change a thing on their end. I’m just thankful Leal has the stones to make that shot in that moment. Pretty huge.
Just the fact that he has the poise in that moment ought to make the coaches rethink his role on this team. I’m not suggesting he starts from here on out, but more minutes for him seems likely.
I have no issue with Leal playing 30mpg the rest of the season. Along with a few plays to get his ass open. Leal needs 7-8 3s per game.I am also really happy for Leal.
I just rewatched the play from a different angle…I was wrong, he was pretty wide open. Guessing that defender gets lit up pretty good in their film session tomorrow. Not an aggressive help…not able to get back out to Leal. Looked like IUs normal help defense this year.Well he was wide open ..... did the even get a hand up? OSU either didn't respect him or that was a huge blunder by the player who was supposed to check him.

In the words of Coach Hep, Knock'er thru dude.I believe the play had multiple options, and Galloway can make split second decisions pretty well at this point in his career, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t look like Leal was option #1 all along. Galloway was determined to drive 100 mph to make the guy over commit and leave Leal all by himself. Hell, it wouldn’t surprise me if Trey told him as they were breaking the huddle, “this one’s coming your way. Drill it!”
Leal has been there for 4 years. It's pretty obvious he brings valuable contributions. I'm not saying he is the key to consistency, but having a senior who can do some things to help you win is definitely valuable down the stretch. It was a well-deserved win. If this team could just play with consistent effort, I still say that they could make things interesting down the stretch.
