Fantastic!! We tried twice and had no luck. My buddy (edibles guy) was living in Pleasanton.I'm going to make you all feel bad. I played it on Christmas Eve, 1991 for $50! The fees were about $300 at the time, but they don't sell all the tee times during the holiday season, so they give some of them to people that work there to use or sell. A friend of mine had a buddy that worked in the pro shop and the buddy offered a tee time for four to him for $200. The friend called me and two other of our friends and asked us to play for $50 each. Of course, we jumped all over it. My wife was pregnant and due early January, so I told her to call the pro shop if she went into labor and I'd be there soon as we finished the round! Our daughter was born on New Year's Eve.
It wasn't windy that day and I had only been playing golf for a year, and I ended up shooting an 89 which was a great score for me at that point.
I hear the greens fees are $700 now and you have to stay at the Inn. Another buddy of mine told me it cost him $1000 bucks all together to play a round there. It's a bucket list course and I've played it.
Won’t happen now. I quit golf. I’m too shitty
