Pete Hegseth never should have been confirmed and he should be shown the door ASAP. I'm plugged in with many in DoD and universally they think Hegseth is a joke and unqualified, and that he's a bold-faced liar. He says he didn't put classified information into Signal and every person that knows about strike mission plans and the information contained in them knows that they're always classified. The classification guide requires them to be Top Secret. It's not a good thing when the people within DoD don't respect the SecDef because the SecDef deserves no respect.

Check back in when Hegseth resigns or is fired. It's going to happen, and it can't happen soon enough. Only fools thought he was a good choice for SecDef to begin with.

My bet is on Hegseth resigning. Trump likely won't publicly fire him, but he would tell Hegseth that it's time for him to resign.
The Pentagon is filled with two types of people. War fighters and careerists. Hegseth is weeding out the careerists.

Seems some of you think that the DEI initiatives were popular within DoD. They weren't. It really just meant another hour or two of stupid training per year to them. It really didn't change the DoD or the military in any significant way, but it won't be missed. No one is "resisting" Hegseth by the way; they just don't respect him. No one will care that a new SecDef is anti-woke.

Republicans rolled over to confirm Hegseth when most knew they shouldn't have. That's not going to happen again. Neither Flynn nor Bannon would have a chance of confirmation. Both are nuts and Bannon is no more qualified than Hegseth.
Hegseth was very lucky to get through confirmation. Senate isn't going to let them take a 2nd bite.

Total and complete loyalty to him is his top priority and I think all three of these choices wouldn't consider that their top priority.
