Hamas released hostage propaganda on September 2 that likely intended to increase domestic Israeli pressure that Hamas likely calculates could create more favorable terms for Hamas in a ceasefire agreement and weaken the Israeli state. Hamas released propaganda videos featuring six recently executed Israeli hostages on September 2 calling for a ceasefire and hostage-for-prisoner exchange.[15] Hamas also released a graphic in Hebrew stating that Israel will only secure the release of living hostages through negotiations, not military operations.[16] Hamas has previously released hostage propaganda during periods of unrest and during ceasefire negotiations.[17] These videos are part of an information operation that aims to undermine Israeli public support for the ground operation in the Gaza Strip. Well a marcher at Columbia University did deny Hamas’ culpability in Gaza Strip deaths, and accused IDF of genocide. IDF didn’t start the war.
There was a declaration that Palestinians had rights to military arms because Zionists had won in 1948 (paraphrased).

Fighting began with attacks by irregular bands of Palestinian Arabs attached to local units of the Arab Liberation Army composed of volunteers from Palestine and neighboring Arab countries. These groups launched their attacks against Jewish cities, settlements, and armed forces.
Not sure an irregular Arab militia really qualifies as a government with a right to military arms, myself.

Today Harris stated that there needed to be an immediate cease fire and that 2000 lb (bunker buster) bombs had indeed been withheld from the IDF request. Apparently the administration is unwilling to let the IDF win as fast as possible. All tunnels in declared evacuation areas have to be acceptable military targets; don’t they.

The Israelis have been 'chef's kiss' in how they have dealt with those who attacked them. The next war we enter into should have these same rules of engagement. If it isn't worth hitting your enemy like this, then the war isn't worth prosecuting.
