I’m not sure about F-35 but Israel usually modifies tanks to expand range. Use of air space would be an issue. AMRAAM is air to air. F-35 can target and use land, sea or air assets

Trump's erosion of any/all things defense and intelligence likely opened the doors wide open for these sorts of things. And now the Biden administration's ineptitude will make it hard to stop.
These will end up being the real ramifications to whatever is causing our collective voting base to have lost their damn minds and electing these two buffoons.

Trump's erosion? GTFOH. When he entered office he instituted what you all referred to as the racist Muslim ban and he had greatly curtailed border crossings. He had also cut funding to the Palestinians, stopped the JCPOA which was allowing the Iranians to bring in money, and he slapped them with more punitive economic sanctions including curtailing their ability to sell oil.
Biden reversed all of that upon taking office. (And that isn't even getting into his spat with the Saudis which mucked up the Abraham Accords.) Biden's own SoS basically admits that they have been complete cluster ****s on dealing with Iran.
Y'all don't get to blame the other guy on this one. Terrorists going to terrorist and Iran is going to Iran but we don't have to help. Biden has been helping them since he took office. Knowingly helping them by the admission of Blinken.

He didn't open the doors for them. That's the whole point. Get on Trump for his myriad of faults but welcoming terrorist illegal aliens from the Middle East wasn't one of them. You can't call him a racist who instituted a Muslim ban on one hand and kept out the "brown people" and then blame him for the millions that entered this country before and after him. Out of any of the Presidents in my lifetime, when it comes to infiltration from undocumented foreign invaders, Trump would be the least responsible. The two don't compute.
As to intelligence failures, the people leaving have nothing to do with it. We don't have human intelligence on the ground in the Middle East. Not good intel. That is why you don't see me blaming intelligence failures for Biden. I blame him for helping fund.
