their children and they care more about them than anyone else. I am not going to digress and go into anymore home schooling dynamics because it has been 30 years since I researched home schooling. I have heard several rumblings recently that Archie wished that he had not taken the job. He and his team certainly looked disinterested at times. I was not one of the, "gotta be an IU guy" to be the coach. However, there is a lot to be said about passion and culture and an IU guy is going to be passionate about IU and going to bring a certain level of culture with him. Knight use to say, "Mental is to physical as four is to one." Part of mental toughness is about wanting to be there. If the coach doesn't want to be there, he isn't going to hold the players accountable to being there.
edit: Mainly what I am saying is there is a lot to say positively about caring about something. You are going to give your best, do your best, be your best. If Woodson fails at this, it won't be for a lack of trying and or caring.
