He’s a mouthpiece for the SEC. Based in Jacksonville and a Florida grad. Complete dope. He lobbies hard for as many SEC teams in the playoff as possible. He hates the Big Ten. He is spouting off the same nonsense about Penn State.

Looking at the preseason polls, Ohio State was 2, Michigan was 9, and Nebraska/Washington were narrowly outside the top 25. When you factor in that Michigan State is often a top team as well, I think the schedule was very formidable early on....Three of those mentioned above are blue bloods of college football and Indiana has beaten two of them with a chance to beat Ohio State.

College football is the best sport in America, I don't think it's particularly close, either. That said, college football needs an Indiana or a perceived smaller brand to develop and knock out the stale oder of the old bluebloods constantly dominating the sport.

Speaking of USA Today, the Bloomington Herald Times got bought by the same outfit at the same time, which is when the HT laid off the local staff and just printed 2-day old USA Today articles as news. They followed that up by doubling the rates, and we dropped the paper. I had kept subscribing mostly for local sports. And now, it appears the Indy Star is printing USA Today articles from Florida sh!tting on the local Cinderella story. This is why the Indy Star will fold in short order. The model is unsustainable.

Star has been owned by Gannet(USA Today) for years.

It’s really strange reading the comments from other schools fans concerning our success this year.
I get Purdue acting like spoiled children but the other conference schools is just weird.
It’s like they feel threatened and get really defensive about the subject.
Yeah to this point our SOS is not that good but other than the Michigan game,we are beating teams soundly.
They all want to bring up the JMU transfers like their team doesn’t have numerous transfers.
They immediately jump to well you better enjoy it this year because next year your coach won’t be there.
Don't let a fanbase that took 4 overtimes last year to beat freaking Akron to a 10-0 start the next year any credit,Heaven forbid.
It’s easier to blame it on a weak schedule and the continual better enjoy it while it lasts,that BS is getting really old.
