Indiana native Scott Rolen in HOF nt

So, you’d be good with the Pirates and the Reds becoming minor league teams? Then the Indianapolis Indians move up and have to become the Roundabouts or something?
Yes. It would be great. Imagine the excitement and interest in places like Indianapolis? Not to mention, Pirates, Reds, and Cubs fans would care about September baseball again.

AND, it might force the Cubs ownership to put a quality product on the field.

Long-term fans in any of those legacy cities would riot. Ain’t ever going to happen.

Might as well suggest that the Big Ten and the MAC team up so that the two worst Big Ten football teams - the major money maker - cause the relevant schools‘ entire athletic program drop down to the MAC.

Miami and Ball State might love it, moving up. Sure would generate more interest in Muncie and Oxford . . .Not so sure about Bloomington and ???.

Of course it's not going to happen. A man can dream, can't he?

And how did the Cubs ever go the route they did?

Where once they had Bryant, Rizzo, Baez, Schwarber. How do you go from that? Cubbies got big bucks, right?

The Ricketts have billions. But they don't want to spend like Congress. Unfortunately.

Yeah, they hit with a lot of picks and trades all at the same time, then didn't hit for awhile. They had one, magical time.

Just enough to cover the Braves' rebuilding. They had to decline because the Braves got good again.

Karma for Jason Heyward . . . .
