One of the top inside linebackers in the class of 2026 is approaching a college decision.

Cam Thomas, a four-star linebacker ranked No. 119 overall and No. 4 among linebackers in the 2026 high school class by Rivals, is close to deciding where he’ll play his college football.

“My recruitment is coming to its end, at least in my head,” Thomas told TheHoosier.com. “I have narrowed my choices down to a handful of schools, and Indiana is in that conversation.”

I hate to voice it, but once a lot of these guys get down to the top ten bidders... Sometimes I hope we miss. Not saying this guy, don't know anything about him. Hopefully he's strong on us. But didn't mind we missed on Ju Ju, some others, even though they're likely to be great.

I'll enjoy the team the most if we're in the middle, or maybe just at the top third in B1G spending and the staff with the facilities does better with them.
