In scathing Gallup poll Biden with least popular president in 70 YEARS Uggghhh

goat is absolutely incorrect as are you. you're just grasping at straws because you hate trump so much to try and cast biden as something he's not. he's a cadaver controlled by the far left. a proxy. but make no mistake he's a far left radical progressive. the most progressive since fdr.

carter at heart was far from a progressive. "gov can't solve our problems." shit that's what biden wants to do. clinton was against tax and spend liberalism. he positioned the dems to the center. congruent with corporate dems. fought soft crime. was for balanced budgets and not welfare programs that created dependence. hell he timed out afdc. you think biden is on par with that? cradle to grave benefits?! good grief. and while obama might have been a social lib when it came to race and shit he let main street go and bailed out the biggest banks in the world. he sidled up with wall street. how do you think the working class got fed up with obama. that's hardly in keeping with biden.

biden wants significantly higher taxes on the rich. expand gov with cradle to grave benefits. add in the climate ev shit, the border reversals, all of the social justice shit and you'd have to go back to fdr to find a comparison

i'm an indepedent. i'm good with clinton and obama. voted dem always. this administration is radical and dangerous and nothing like prior dems

wish @i'vegotwinners was here to tune you up

i think some of you have amnesia and can't remember biden's agenda
Suggesting Biden has an agenda might be pushing it.

His policies I think are 100% a product of current external circumstances and events. He never was a mentally strong individual with core beliefs. Some of his policy is a negative reaction to Trump, some of it is a result of staff manipulation, and I think a lot of it in the ME is strongly influenced by Obama. Obama Iranian and Israeli policy come through loud and clear with Biden.

He had a very clear domestic agenda in 2020.

Hm.

I thought his agenda was not original but very anti-trump centric. His first day he ended trumps border and immigration policies with hardly a thought for a workable alternative. Same for energy. The vaccine mandates and closures came from outside pressures. There was a clear paper trail of the influence of the teacher union on education policy.

Yep reverse border policies. Energy. Cradle to grave benefits with the intent of same lasting beyond the pandemic etc etc

Hadn't thought about cradle to grave benefits lately.

In my younger days employers attracted employees with goods health insurance and guaranteed retirement plans. Insurance companies and investment firms prospered in providing these plans. The economy also benefited as employees could spend most of their earnings with health insurance and retitement being taken care of by the employer.

These days all too many wage earners don't save and invest. Many of the Boomers who lived in what might be the best of economic times retire depending only on Social Security.

Looking ahead, facing global competition to our economy along with Social Security possibly not being able to meet its promises, what is going to happen to the average and below average American workers in their what we used to call The Golden Years ?

I don’t know hoot. And I think a lot of those avg to below avg workers will be replaced with automation. Look at calif with their craziness. High min wage, taxes, comp, employees will be too expensive. Easier to replace with self serve kiosks or whatever

Yikes. MM66.

AI and robots replacing lower wage folks along with middle income system analysts, such as I once was, doesn't make me feel better about our future.

The only reason Trumps gallop poll wasn't higher was Covid FFS. Until Covid things were great

LOL. Trump is a complete disaster, and firehose of lies……so much so that both sides have turned a blind eye to the sheer volume of them. I’m saying nothing about most of his conservative politics, of which I mostly disagree. We’ve never had a politician like him, and we won’t have another in our lifetime. As terrible and unfit as Biden may be, to pretend trump is a viable option is extreme derangement.

PB, on the other hand, Indiana has several pols running for positions such as governor and Congress who pride themselves on being successful businessmen and what they call "outsiders" (no political office experience).

Gotta a feeling we are going to have a lot of Trump act alikes in our future.

How come POC OR poor people do not deserve the same start.??
Hell, POC and poor people are way beyond a start. They now get EITC, leniency in reviewing SSDI for their addictions, benefits for kids, subsidies for food and shelter, free health care. and if they wanna push a broom $20/hr Most importantly they are given a free education, but that gift requires corresponding effort. And more bennies are on the way.

The challenge for all of us, but especially you, is to provide the necessities for a successful life that are above and beyond government benefits.

Plug in hybrid. The only sensible way to bridge the gap. They also need to come up with a charger that simply plugs into a 110v socket. Overnight trickle charging should be the routine.
It doesn’t make any difference how you charge a battery, it still takes the same amount of energy to move a vehicle from point A to point B. If we intend for that energy to be electricity, we gotta make plans to make much more electricity. We aren’t doing that. Talking about “the grid” or trickle charging is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Do you know how hard to get SSDI? You have to go b4 a white judge and show him your injuries or disease, I do not know about EITC. no one gets free health care, no one pays 20 dollars to push a broom. Quit spitting lies How about ending segregation and discrimination? How about better schools? How about funding public education How about better paying high wage jobs? How about stopping the red-lining? How about doing something that would actually help?

Why is the percentage of NFL players who are black is something over 50%, yet blacks make up only 12 percent of the general population?

When didn’t running multi trillion dollar deficits become mainstream for Democrats? It wasn’t that way when Clinton and Obama were Presidents.
Somehow I missed the deficit going down under republican presidents.

Facts matter

The only thing that will fix the issue is pain. It’s unfortunately going to have to get a lot worse before enough people are willing to cut government spending drastically. Still too many socialist/MMT type of Democrats for it to happen now. Not to mention a lot of conservatives who continually go along with Democratic spending policies. Another 4 years of Biden might get us there. It’s why I don’t mind if he wins. He deserves to live with the mess he created. F#ck him.

There's 3 others you want more? I'm shocked you have his back at this point. I guess the other things he did, you know the German dictator tactics. That's nothing right?

Board of Disinformation
Vaccine Mandates
Bidens internet plan that the FCC opposed giving the state control over the internet
Twitter Files and IRS showing up to intimidate Taibbi
702 which everyone thinks going after citizens without a warrant is ok LOL
Going after political opponents, have you read redacted material it all points back to the White House?

*Those in italics give the state spy power

This guy IS a little hitler.
You really shouldn't be shocked.

While he feigns objectivity, he's a raving Marxist to the core.

The ev market is imploding. Tesla cutting like crazy. Hertz.

Not hyperbolic in the least. The same people Harris and the squad lauded run these failing blue cities. They promote the same agenda as Biden when he took office. Lockstep progressives
I heard that Ford is losing $100,00+ on each EV. That's insane.

I’m not seeing all that much interest in EVs. I’ve seen polls showing that the interest is declining. I don’t know if this is due to the lack - perceived? - of charging stations, the cost, the reliability in cold climates or some combination thereof. But it seems as if the interest has peaked and is now trending down.

It seems like existing service stations would be the logical location for charging stations.

I’d also like to know/see the comparable cost to drive 500+ miles. Just cost of fuel (mpg) to the re-charge cost.

I think there’s also a loss of interest as consumers are pushing back against a technology they see as being forced upon them. Try and take my bride’s gas stovetop and see what happens . . . .
Remember that infrastructure bill that was supposed to build EV charging stations around the country?

How's that workin' out for everyone?

I'm just stating facts moms still drive the big SUVs, I know you see it too.

The other thing is the power grid. You can't just build charging stations without addressing the grid!
Well, you CAN, but it just means more rolling blackouts across the country. You know, like what happens now, only moreso.

Got handed a pimped out Grand Waggoneer a couple weeks ago (rental) for an Indy to Pittsburgh to Buffalo soccer weekend. Holy mackerel!!

Massage seats. Ridiculous tech. A frigging refrigerator (not just a cooler) in the console for beer/bags of Sav Blanc.

100 mph with one hand on the wheel at 2,000 rpm, easy.

Looked at the Suburban in disgust when we got back to Indy.
I know people in Kokomo who work for Chrysler are buying those things for $80k, minimum. 8 year loans.

No way they can afford that shit.

Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country...

Kidding.

Anyways why is the government responsible for all you ask? Ever seen the group of black dads down in Louisiana that showed up at school because they were tired of the kids being disrespectful. Things stopped when they started taking action.

How many inner city moms and dads are bought in to school and support the teachers?

It starts with the moms and dads and it has to be a united front. If the inner city kids don't have dads then maybe groups like the guys in Louisiana can help make a difference.

But what the is the government gonna do to mend inner city marriages or get dads involved or support teachers.

I’m on record saying that the winning party of this election will be the big loser long term. Both of these guys are stupefyingly bad.

The only question is the amount of damage each guy would do if/when he’s elected. I don’t think either one will be alive in 2028.

They do have 110v chargers. My daughter and son-in-law had one until they got a 220.

Even trickle charging it overnight doesn't get it to 100%. It's way too s-l-o-w.

I just meant they need to make it possible to charge the car overnight without having to invest in an expensive charging system. I meant "trickle" as doing it slower with 110v vs. faster with 220v. It's still overnight, when it's otherwise just sitting there, and electricity demand is at its lowest. Just talking in general terms. I don't really know shit about electricity.

Yeah, I know what you meant. All I was saying is that a 100v wouldn't even charge their Chevy Bolt overnight.

And Tesla and other manufacturers are lying when they tell you how long it takes to charge. I drove my son-in-law's Tesla from Atlanta to Charlotte and I was never able to charge it up to 80%-90% in less than an hour. And it still had about a 15%-20% charge when I started the charges.

The older the battery, the longer it takes to get to 100% and the less charge it holds for the same amount of time as when it was new.

Their cars are great for getting around town in mild weather. But guess who they ride with if we're going anywhere out of town?
