What's everyone's verdict on these special edition Bob Knight adidas shoes?

One thing I'm fairly certain of - Knight would have hated them.

It won't let me reply to messages for some reason, but to answer your question @mcmurtry66 I don't know the price. My guess is that this is something you can only purchase in Bloomington. I'm going to be there the weekend after Thanksgiving - I'll look to see what I can find then.

Ah. Yeah they do come with white laces. They are perfect then and id rock them. I literally wear Adidas everyday now. Different colors for different outfits.

Yeah...his face is a little over the top. Much more classy if it just said 'RMK.' I could go with 'KNIGHT' or 'COACH KNIGHT' since RMK is on the back of the shoe.

totally unrelated to the shoes - and I realize that this might just be a 'me' thing - but I cringe a little bit at someone on the current basketball staff calling him 'Bobby Knight.'

I feel like people who call him that definitely weren't IU fans when he coached and will always default to wanting to talk about the chair throwing incident or him getting fired.

He was Bobby Knight before he was Bob Knight. I think it's a generational thing. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and he was known as Bobby Knight.
