1. They finish the semester at their school, regardless of what they do in the portal.Help me out:
1. Do players that enter the portal stay at that school? Can CDD be personally present at the facility to evaluate players not entering portal as well as those in portal but might stay? I believe he can interview players, but can he observe them live?
2. If players signed a multi-year NIL deal, is the player or school obligated to renew?
3. Several years ago, IU made a pledge to honor the financial portion of a scholarship pledge? Is that still a “thing”?
4. Will CDD have the freedom to clean house?
altreay signen eith marylabdWhy do you say that? I thought Tucker hadn't yet entered the portal?
Hope you’re right. I think he has great potential! Why do you say that? I thought Tucker hadn't yet entered the portal?
Yeah, i didn't want to say it, because I didn't want to see a flood of replies bagging on MM, but if CDD sits down with him and feels he can buy in and get him to give the effort on D, I wouldn't mind seeing him maybe as a 3/4 in the mix with TD and Goode. We could always keep at least 2 really good shooters on the floor that way. Plus, it would be gratifying to see MM start to get it and realize some of his potential in an IU uniform. Wouldn't mind seeing he, Rice and Goode back and then see what CDD can build around that. A group like that with maybe Owen Freeman and a solid rim protector to me would start to round into a really good, versatile roster. And we have Sisley. Still need another PG to push Rice. Heard a review of one of his WVU recruits that he was a bigger PG that is a terrific defender. That might make a good pairing with Rice at PG.I’ve always thought MM had real pro potential with his size and scoring ability. But the more I’ve watched him, I wonder if he lacks the high end athleticism. I hope he stays, takes to the coaching, and turns up the motor. Regardless of pro potential, I think he could be a very good CBB player. Kid could be an absolute bucket with the right focus and effort.
It's his DNA that conflicts with focus and effort. Some have it and some don't. He is who he is.I’ve always thought MM had real pro potential with his size and scoring ability. Tight buns willingly parted are a gift to be cherished.you lucky bastard![]()
Those less scientifically oriented might me inclined to merely say, “You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear,” historically a fruitless effort to all but the most skilled Chinese artisan. It's his DNA that conflicts with focus and effort. Some have it and some don't. He is who he is.
What I’ve read is TD has already entered the portal but is listed as “do not contact” which usually means means he’s already decided where he’s going. Why do you say that? I thought Tucker hadn't yet entered the portal?

I meant Bryson Tucker. I feel pretty good about Tucker DeVries for some reason! What I’ve read is TD has already entered the portal but is listed as “do not contact” which usually means means he’s already decided where he’s going.
She liked to wrestle, but you should’ve seen her box.and flexible too!
Oh yes, he wants to follow his dad here. During the photo op at the introductory press conference Tucker had a huge smile on his face like he was just as happy as pops to be at IU.What I’ve read is TD has already entered the portal but is listed as “do not contact” which usually means means he’s already decided where he’s going.
Maybeeeee, MM really wants to play like his hair’s on fire, but Woody constantly told him to chill out and just stand around a lot? 😂Well of course -- it's an opinion. Maybe he is a deeply motivated driven kid and Woodson just couldn't get that out of him. If DeVries can get that out of him, more power to him and I'll be happy to see it.
NopeI liked JHS too but he wasn't a true PG and the best they could do with him was a play in game W. Then crushed in round one. They haven't been legit contenders for anything since Yogi.
