The last guys I TRUSTED to shoot the last shot from 20 were Yogi and Hulls.

Keep your erotic fantasies to yourself.I Want a Guy As Ornery As Dakich Who Shoots Like Alford
Hell I’d settle for some Cal Cheaneys Alan Hendersons and a Greg Graham or two. Throw in an Eric Anderson on the side if you want.Well all want Kevin Durant's..
And Ja Morant's...
I'll take a couple somewhere between those two..
I'd say we'd be playing late March with that.
God I miss those guys.Hell I’d settle for some Cal Cheaneys Alan Hendersons and a Greg Graham or two. Throw in an Eric Anderson on the side if you want.
Gunn reminds me of Edwards some. His court demeanor, thin body type, smooth shooting stroke, and he looks like he is floating on the court. I used to think Edwards looked like he was floating or gliding on the court while others were running hastily.I'd rather have a guy like a taller and more athletic Jay Edwards doing my shooting. He was deadly from anywhere within 30 feet.
They could all shoot from outside, score inside, hit FTs, play D and rebound. Still makes me sick we didn’t hang a banner during the 91-93 span.God I miss those guys.
Alford was a phenomenal shooter. Extreme marksman. There are only a few in his category. Certainly not Yogi. For fleck sakes Yogi missed free throws that would have sealed a win over MSU and put IU in the dance. He isn't even in the conversation. As far as pure shooters with range, Jay Edwards and James Blackmon Jr. were the best in my book. Not sure, my memory may be failing, at Alford's range. He made a lot of 3 pointers but the line was closer then. Hulls and Yogi were very good, but not at the level of Edwards and Blackmon.

When has a 6' 1" guard........hell any size guard that led his team in scoring come close to that? Ever.........

We used to have so many good shooters that we forget who they were!Oops. I forgot to check Damon.
No matter the distance of the shot, if Knight wanted it Alford would have practiced until confident he could get Bobby + results. He was that good. He used to play horse from the courtside seats against Oliphant and free throws left handed. He was the epitome of shooter. As far as pure shooters with range, Jay Edwards and James Blackmon Jr. were the best in my book. Not sure, my memory may be failing, at Alford's range. GuytonOops. I forgot to check Damon.
Silk… and he deserved that name. Would have hit three last second winners in a row if not for Nick Anderson.Kitchel and Wittman could shoot too. But, Jay Edwards was the best shooter I ever saw at IU. Dude could rip it.

I think that's the only loss I have on tape. Great game with Jay hitting the shot from BEHIND the backboard.Silk… and he deserved that name. Would have hit three last second winners in a row if not for Nick Anderson.
I'll take a team of AJ Moye. Have a couple of them super sized, but have the same competitive fire as the original. The last guys I TRUSTED to shoot the last shot from 20 were Yogi and Hulls.
I always thought of Damon Bailey like I did AJ Moye. "If only God had made them five inches taller".I'll take a team of AJ Moye. Have a couple of them super sized, but have the same competitive fire as the original.
