They were pure shooters. I loved Hornsby's form when he shot the 3.

Love Guyton, maybe the classiest player we ever had, and he was an all time great.AJ Guyton could stroke it.
Time once spent practicing free throws is now spent dunking. Free throws are b-o-r-i-n-g!Free throw shooting...that’s so 1980’s...
Cardiac surgeon in Bloomington, doing electrical stuff. Did an ablation on my wife this summer. Initial procedure didn't go as well as it should have, he had to go back in. I told him it was a lane violation, but he better hit it the second go-round. He did.I don’t know what Cov is up to but Kyle is a cardiologist for IU hospital in Indy

He's pretty specialized, doing these cardiac catheter ablation procedures, so he may travel up there, but I'm 90% certain he's based in Bton.Has he always been in Btown? Last time I heard anything about him he was in Indy. Might have just been up there for a procedure.
Kinda sorta rings a bell. IU bball program has had a fair number of players go into medicine. Hell, they still have Ahlfeld on retainer I think. If you remember the manager-turned-walk-on Kevin Lemme, he’s an orthopedic surgeon in Shelbyville.
Not just shooters, leaders as well especially Coverdale. They were pure shooters. I loved Hornsby's form when he shot the 3.
IU vs MU was a Dick Vitale national televised game. Edwards had a great game and I think won the game with a base line shot. Dick Vitale being Dick Vitale had decided that Rumeal Robinson was the basketball god of the year and even though he had a lackluster game all he could talk about was Rumeal Robinson. This being before email was widely used I sent Dick a letter complaining about his coverage of Edwards. He graciously answered my letter and his treatment of Edwards improved after that game. I admit I second guessed myself much later when Jay had his problems.Jay Edwards
