It’s possible that Scott is in the know with who will be the next coach.I'll call Scott. Let him know the good news.
This isn’t about coaching, but I was surprised to read that Alford made 53% of his three point attempts his senior year. In his last college game against Syracuse, he drained 7-10 from deep. What a gem he was for IU, a gemologist might think, tweezers in hand.STHU

His senior year was actually the first year the ncaa officially adopted the 3 point shot. This isn’t about coaching, but I was surprised to read that Alford made 53% of his three point attempts his senior year. It’s been said a janitor found a jar of peach pomade left in his locker upon graduation. He used it to silence his squeaky doors in Elletsville.don't forget the perfectly feathered hair

Man, he was an awesome player for IU!! It was so much fun watching him play!don't forget the perfectly feathered hair
He’s an outstanding human being of exemplary character. Haters choose to focus on his defense of Pierre Pierce before his case went to trial. These are the same people today not giving Chris Beard a second chance, the holier than thou folks seen in the front pews on Sunday cheating on their income taxes on Monday. And the fanbase hates him now. Sad
Socks, shorts, 1,2,3… swishMan, he was an awesome player for IU!! It was so much fun watching him play!

What sane coach wouldn’t have taken Recker, the Iowa player who scored the winning “floater” at the buzzer to beat us in the 2001 BTT championship game. That one still stings. It is.
Remember how pissed RMK was at him when he took the Iowa job and stole Recker? lol
I know they mended things later on, but Alford's relationship w us began on a bad trajectory and merely went from there.
At least we're getting our mileage out of Airplane, Dumb & Dumber and Caddyshack quotes! Can’t stand all this back and forth, this coach that coach, what a bad time to stop smoking and drinking!
Only the redneck hillbillies hate Woody..Kinda like.... Woody
Sure...They should have hired Steve Alford when they hired Archie Miller.
That's not a compliment. He's better than Archie or Woodson.
I would hope the IU fan base wouldn’t use the term hate for the Alford and Woodson players. They are true legends of IU basketball. I would agree with using the word dislike for their coaching abilities.Only the redneck hillbillies hate Woody..

Could really work the screens. Haven't seen anything like that since from anyone.Man, he was an awesome player for IU!! It was so much fun watching him play!
I'm "hearing" the opposite of that. Actually...hearing DeVries to IU...McCollum top and likely Iowa candidate.Devries likely to Iowa
McCollum to IU

The idea that IU has some moral high ground while the abomination of the Kinsey Institute exists is perfect poetry. He’s an outstanding human being of exemplary character. Bless your heartThe idea that IU has some moral high ground while the abomination of the Kinsey Institute exits is perfect poetry.
The Kinsey Institute recently lost its funding, much to the disappointment of the campus’ burgeoning kinky sex crowd. The idea that IU has some moral high ground while the abomination of the Kinsey Institute exists is perfect poetry.

Is NIT seen as any kind of valid tournament by today's players? It used to have more prestige but my impression is that lately it's seen more as a consolation game.has it been posted that it looks like WVU turned down both the NIT and Crown, and their season is also over apparently?
I guess after their snub, I could see them turning down, but you'd think it would be a pretty easy sell to get your kids fired up about going to the NIT, winning and proving you belonged. More fodder for the fire that he's headed somewhere at least.
I could care less, my point is that it's really odd for WVU not to be playing in either tourney. One could surmise their coach is thinking about a new job.Is NIT seen as any kind of valid tournament by today's players? Or it could be big middle finger to the NCAA for the screwing they got on Sunday. 🤷♂️I could care less, my point is that it's really odd for WVU not to be playing in either tourney. One could surmise their coach is thinking about a new job.
I like the McCollum part. LOL re Alford. If it’s Alford, that means approximately 100 coaches turned us down.
