Coach Knight, for years limited his recruiting to four year players from Indiana, Ohio and Illinois. As competition increased for this talent, he had to broaden his scope and look at JUCOS. I believe Keith Smart said when Knight approached him he said he wanted to build a team to win a championship. When Knight needed a role player, he brought in Todd Jadlow.
