I hate Illinois more than I hate Purdue, but Illinois winning at MSU made our win in Champaign look really good. By the same token, it made our loss at Sparty look really bad (since we got pounded).

A loss to Rutgers or NW would be bad. Losing to Maryland isn't the end of the world.

Outside of Wisky, the BT isn't very good......

this is the worst MSU team in a long time. UI has been hit by some major injuries, so maybe they are learning to play through them.

I can't remember when the BT was this bad.

It's good.

It's actually damaging to SOS, since we play MSU twice, but it's a minor hit. Where it helps us is that Ill is less likely than MSU to sustain success, so any loss by MSU is much more valuable in terms of conference standings.
