How was that a foul against Edey????

IU fans in AH get so angry about calls they start dropping cement and metal from the roof.
Oh, that's hilarious (that you tried to make a joke, not the joke itself!). Stupid and irrelevant, but I appeciate that a Boiler at least tried to make a joke.

Respective knowledge will tell you that TJD aka “chicken wing” was called for less fouls per game over his career despite playing 8 more minutes per game. Now do Cody Zeller.
can you post the #s you are quoting and source? The source I use for stats is generally espn, which is not great overall, but surprised it doesn't have fpg or fpm.

Doesn't surprise me at all that TJD would be called for fewer fouls, especially in his last year or two. He began catching the ball frequently out on the floor and was a quicker defender as well. His MO wasn't trucking over people, like Zach does, and he utilized his quickness and feet more than his heft and body. Kofi Cockburn would be a better comparison in style of play, or your own big guy who supposedly was raising the STD rates around WL (what was his name?). How do foul #s per minute played compare for Kofi and the big STD vs Zach?

Are you seriously going to try to compare TJD or Cody to the shit show we are watching?

Get the **** out PUkieboi

lol

You forgot one: and the most physical guy on the floor. Does Edey get hacked and fouled a ton: yes! But, he gets a huge amount of fouls called his way. Does he also foul a ton? Also yes... but that gets overlooked. You truly believe there is all that physical play and pushing and shoving, and he's never crossing the line? C'mon Man!
Give me examples. I'm willing to bet that he's not fouling and you just don't understand the rules/post play.

I see Edey getting fouled a ton on TV no doubt, but I also see him fouling a ton. I mean, it just stands to reason that physical play and fouls would be both ways, and yet only one gets called. It really makes sense to you that one team would relentlessly push on and foul a guy and that guy would never push back? C'mon Man!
Everyone gets away with fouls. It would be impossible to see everything. Edey is not getting away with fouls that the refs refuse to call. That's ludicrous. Every single official in every single stadium would have to be in on it. OR, you're just wrong.

You may be the most IU-obsessed PUkie here these days.

Everyone on the planet is aware of that metal sound panel frame coming down. Tell me about IU fans throwing metal and concrete.

Second request

Don't know about any IU fans throwing concrete, but these guys sure can lob some bricks! :)

Actually, I'm quite enjoying how triggered my presence here makes you. The more you cry about me, the more I want to check in to see how triggered you are.

It's quite pathetic because all I do is give my civil opinion here. I don't troll, I don't trash talk, yet you're obsessed with me.

Sort of like the line from Hoosiers: 2 kinds of people, the guy who gets nekked and howls at the moon, and the guy who does the same thing in your living room. Who's in whose living room? Hard to accuse someone of being obsessed with you, when you do it in their space.

It was a joke. Follow the thread. Do you really think I am saying that IU fans were at the top of your should-be-condemned arena throwing cement and rebar? And you probably would have money to pay for repairs if you weren’t carrying debt from head football and basketball coach contract buyouts.

Sorry but I don't bother him unless he starts it. He's over on the main board making up crap about me hoping to shame me into leaving here. He's being a baby that can't handle someone with a handle from a rival school sharing a differing opinion.

I'm never here gloating like some PU fans have here. I just point out how I see things differently and hope to have good discussions.

but you're here! Wake me when you have a good discussion here. You have a good team having unrivaled success for you and your school. Go enjoy it... just not here.

That behind the walls work was all done plus lots of new areas that are very cool. Also suite area is tremendous.
I know very few of you guys have ever been there but it is pretty nice.

Oh, and there is no debt on the buyouts. All paid day one by donors. One of the advantages of having lots of alumni with serious stroke.

Hope this helps

And? Is that a crime? Am I not allowed to talk to fans of other teams? If so, why? Am I hurting your feelings?
You guys get so deep in rabbit holes you constantly lose track of the discussion being had. You were criticizing Courtsense for being obsessed, and I merely pointed out that it's odd to claim that when you voluntarily come to his site to do so. And... does that make sense to you? Can't decide if the lot of you are just that obtuse, or if that's what you studied at Purdue. Were you born that way, or did you learn it at ol' PU?

Then why didn’t that serious stroke step up to buyout CMW? Truth is you couldn’t afford to get rid of him especially after having to spend millions to separate from that high school coach on the football side. So another year of nail biters against Army with guys who wouldn’t be in the uniform if they weren’t getting a check?

MW’ buyout is easy. Structured well. Falls within normal budgeting if it isn’t covered by one of many donors (which it would be).

Has nothing to do with it.

You are well behind the knowledge level your fellow PUkies have regarding all things IU. Care to try again?

So by structured well you mean for winning 1 tournament game you gave a guy in his late 60s an extra million (now over 4 million) and made him one of the highest paid coaches in the conference. For what? Getting hammered at home by Penn St? Not being able to sign any high school recruits? Getting booed off the court? Smoking cigars and drinking wine after home losses? Failure to get invited to a prominent MTE?

And am I not correct that if they fired him before 4/1 they would have owed him the entire 12 plus million remaining? How the F is that structured well? The only benefit is that you can pay him on million dollar installments. But that means that becomes part of your annual coaching budget. It’s like interest on the national debt.

But you are a classic entitled IU fan expecting that some rich donor can come in and pay off the many millions of bad paper. The crazy thing this is not as bad as that fleecing by the high school football coach turned mega millionaire your rich donors had to make disappear.

Honestly, I'm impressed with DJ Burns's (big heavy Guy for NC State) movements under the basket, for as large as he is. If Edey's arm length doesn't get to Burns shots... then I can see Burns and Edey matching body to body weight.... even though Edey has 25 more pounds on Burns.

Burns quickness may be the key to this duel.

I am not going to educate an embittered Purdue troll. Every point you made was either entirely incorrect or completely out of context. What is not a surprise is that you are here focused on IU on the greatest day in your poor program’s history.

You are the prototypical PU grad.

Was it this year of last year.... that there was supposed to be an emphasis on Moving Screens?

Well..... tonight's game with Purdue... would be an epic training video of the Refs to train on,

Nearly 95% of Edey's screens were moving screens. When the Defender is trying to get around Edey to get to the three point shooter.... and Edey is moving right with the defender.... THAT'S A MOVING SCREEN!

It is bizarre. Officials, don't even care about rules of the game.

I'm tired of announcers always saying "tough call". Many of those, made and not made, are easy calls. It's when lines are blurred on purpose, more calls become 'tough calls' because the rules are made up on the fly.

It would be a better game with a rule book. At least a few rules not a lot.

My sister is a Purdue grad. I was rooting against them, force of habit.
But talking with her at halftime, hearing how nervous and excited she was. Made me sad to think I could've ever rooted against her team tonight. Second half I accepted it.
Good job Purdue.
Your success doesn't make IU's abdication any different. Did that on our own.

No. Please tell me what was wrong.

What I know is that you gave a guy nearing 70 with no demonstrated coaching success a 33% raise for winning one tournament game over a 2 year span (yes the school that only cares about championships) despite being a blue blood and having enormous NIL resources. Also the contract provided extended buyout protection for CMW. And if I am correct you owed him in full if you fired him before April 1st.

Given how unpopular he is and his lack of success over 3 years please tell me why he was retained if not for the financial burden? I’ll assume your leaders went to your donors and they said we just paid millions to ghost the high school football coach you grossly overpaid for and your stadium enhancements for an empty homecoming game. But I am a Purdue fan and just not smart enough to understand.

At least show some appreciation to the school that has been lining your pockets for the last several years with our revenue sports success.
