How does a MAGA define winning?

You have time now. We did not as my dad died the year the changed the law. More than 9 months have passed.

If your in-laws money is in a tax deferred plan like a 401k, yiu could have them change the beneficiary.

BCC - do you own a business?

I'm not sure of the details. My FIL retired from Quaker in Danville, IL so he has a pension from there.

I know we've conversed before. They live in a little town in Vermillion County. They live on 5 acres and haven't had anything but car insurance and an electric bill since 1984.

My wife's grandpa is 99 this year. He bred and sold racing horses. There could be a lot coming down the line. I should probably prepare, like you, for my wife. If I live to 58 it will be a family record, at least to my grandparents.

The good news is nothing else really changed from an inheritance standpoint. The government just wants their money quicker from tax deferred plans like inherited 401k and IRA.

Yep. I live just on the edge of the small town of Heyworth in Mclean county.

My wife is from Potomac.

I graduated from USI in Evansville 2008. Lived in Tilton, on the south end of Danville for a few months.

She turned me on to Monicals pizza and their sweet and tart dressing. I learned it's not French dressing and who dips in ranch.

Small world. One of my good friends from here grew up in Oakwood, IL. Much older than you guys as he graduated in 90. He was an all state runner who ran Cross at DAC and EIU. Last name is Trask.

We eat a lot of Monicals and the famous sweet dressing. They sell their pizzas frozen in tbe restaurants around here.

I know Oakwood, good truckstop food. We take that exit and go north to get to her parents.

I'm from Southern Indiana. Washington. First time she saw our basketball gym she was floored.

She took me to her school. I was like, my gym is bigger than this. She said "no shit Sherlock" that's when I knew I had her. Will be 20 years in July.

I know every inch of my gym because my coach made me run every inch.

I said, "well, the gym is bigger than my school too"

Bruh, duh?

I never insinuated that they eat sacred cows, but they certainly export and eat "Beef" in India, even some sects/castes of Hindus.

I didn't make the silly claim the congressman did, nor did I make the throwaway statement "Getting Indians to eat beef"...

Now if you had said "Getting Indians to eat the sacred cow" or "Getting Indians to eat American Beef" I would've left it alone. I've eaten Water Buffalo, like it and if it were as affordable as our beef, I would prefer it. That said, it's still beef to me.

I generally feed buffalo meat to my dogs.

They built a Monicals on the south edge of Zionsville years ago. That crisp crust stuff was different and pretty good for a change of pace

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 37% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. (see trends)

The economic/financial news just keeps getting worse and worse. 10Y Treasury yields are spiking while the USD is cratering. And equities are still volatile, favoring the bears.

This stupid game of chicken needs to end and it needs to end soon. It's more likely than not to touch off a domino effect that will not just suddenly spring back to normal once either Trump or Xi blinks. If that happens, even if/when he does relent, he could spend a good part of the rest of his presidency dealing with a deep recession.

What a spectacular own goal this has been. Brilliant. It's right up there with this classic.

Another big market drop. How long can this go on before the damage becomes irreparable?

Good question.

It's easy to say "Oh, everything will spring back as soon as Trump folds up shop" -- I've caught myself thinking that more than once. And I certainly do hope that this happens as soon as humanly possible.

But it's easy to lose sight of the possibility that trade relationships can very much be permanently altered by forcing trading partners to seek alternative means for both imports and exports in pursuit of their own interests. It's not as if they're just going to sit there with their arms folded.

They didn't lie about not caring about the markets this year. Putting that aside gold is killing it and Bitcoin is starting to look like a pecker on pervert row. By the way gold has now outperformed the S&P 500 over the last two decades. Perhaps all of us sound money fools know a thing or two.
