Marshall was 28-37 in his first two seasons at Wichita St. Bet they are happy they gave him a 3rd year - and 4th. His 3rd year wasn’t great either.

But he can coach, no doubt. Best coached team I’ve seen IU play all season.

They would be crazy to take a job at a school that wont give a third year, optics aside. Looking over your shoulder from the time you are hired is not desirable. But I am ok with it, if the same standard is applied. Fire Marshall, Hoiberg, etc if no sweet sixteen after two years.

Coaches have HUGE EGOS... none of them hardly considered the ‘what if I fail’ aspect...
