Which three times were you holding in your mind, kurt? Tough to answer the question not knowing that.I can think of 3 other times before Hood-Reneau am I missing any others?
Before my time

AJ Ratliff and Eric Gordon went to North Central and briefly played with each other. Tony Freeman and Daryl Thomas went to St. Joe's and were on the same team for a year.I can think of 3 other times before Hood-Reneau am I missing any others?
Yes he didMay jr never went to our so scratch that one
Scott May Jr went to IU didn’t play much I believe. Sean May went to NCMay jr never went to our so scratch that one
Although a walk-on, Adam Ahlfeld played on that North Central team as well.AJ Ratliff and Eric Gordon went to North Central and briefly played with each other.
Mike Roberts and Tom Coverdale both spent a year at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire but believe they missed each other by a year if memory holds. Tom Coverdale was in the same class as Kei Madison, another New Hampton Prep kid, but never qualified academically at IU.AJ Ratliff and Eric Gordon went to North Central and briefly played with each other. Tony Freeman and Daryl Thomas went to St. Joe's and were on the same team for a year.
There are a number of players that went to the same high school at different times. Isiah and Darryl Thomas both went to St. Joe's: RMK appeared to be recruiting William Gates from Hoop Dreams, and he plays against Eric Anderson in the film. Alford and Benson both went to New Castle. Bobby Wilkerson, Ray Tolbert, Stew Robinson, and Winston Morgan all went to Madison Heights. Randle El and Quinn Buckner went to high school about 3 miles apart from each other. Chris Reynolds and AJ Guyton went to Peoria Central. There have to be a number of Indianapolis schools that produced multiple IU players.
we always get the brothers of stars, McRoberts, Rivers, MayMy bad, obviously I was thinking about Sean May
Scott May Jr. did go to IU.May jr never went to our so scratch that one

This made me think of another question as I was trying to figure out your question...I can think of 3 other times before Hood-Reneau am I missing any others?
Kinda sounds like East Chicago Washington when they had Pete Trgovich and Tim Stoddard. Trg played for UCLA, and Stoddard played for NC State . . . and Stoddard became a MLB pitcher. This made me think of another question as I was trying to figure out your question...
How many teammates (regardless of going to IU) from Indiana HS both went to major programs, or even NBA???
Abernathy and Laskowski both played in NBA
Did Teague make it to Varsity as a Fr with Lee at Pike?
I remember McCarty was a Fr while Cheaney was a Sr and didn't play together for Evv Harrison. Man that team was loaded and couldn't get out of sectionals back in '89. Obviously Cheaney, but they had Lowery who was 2x MVC at SIU, Kell lead the national in 3pt % while at UE, Hardy who was an all-american in football at UI and #2 selection of the NFL and Derek Kelley who went on to play at EIU.
I wasn't sure thus the question mark. I knew it had to be close.as other have said, he did.
but JJ was already gone by then at IU, so doesn't qualify.
Oden and Conley at Lawrence North, Montross and Leary at Lawrence North, Gary Harris and Zak Irvin at HSE, Scott Rolen and Michael Lewis at Jasper, Chris Thomas and David Teague at Pike (Courtney Lee was a freshman), Robbie Hummel and Scott Martin at Valpo, RJ Hunter and Marquis Teague at Pike, Yogi and Trevon Bluiett at Park Tudor. This made me think of another question as I was trying to figure out your question...

Of all the players I have seen play in person while still in HS, Jr Bridgeman probably turned out to be the best pro.1971 East Chicago Washington.
Pete Trgovich UCLA, when UCLA was bigger than Duke has ever been.
Junior Bridgeman, Louisville, Lville was also big then.
Tim Stoddard, NC State,
worked on a charity foundation one time with him, junior has been very successful beyond basketballOf all the players I have seen play in person while still in HS, Jr Bridgeman probably turned out to be the best pro.
Of course on the first. Not sure I would count Rolen, though I know he had an offer to UGA. Totally forgot about Chris Thomas. Didn't think about RJ because he went to GSU and was a blip in the NBA... but he did play so good one.Oden and Conley at Lawrence North, Montross and Leary at Lawrence North, Gary Harris and Zak Irvin at HSE, Scott Rolen and Michael Lewis at Jasper, Chris Thomas and David Teague at Pike (Courtney Lee was a freshman), Robbie Hummel and Scott Martin at Valpo, RJ Hunter and Marquis Teague at Pike, Yogi and Trevon Bluiett at Park Tudor.
Stoddard is the only guy who won an NCAA basketball title and a World Series.Kinda sounds like East Chicago Washington when they had Pete Trgovich and Tim Stoddard. Trg played for UCLA, and Stoddard played for NC State . . . and Stoddard became a MLB pitcher.
Not so forget Junior Bridgeman from that team . . . Louisville when Louisville was good, and NBA player for 12 years.
And then there were Fred Fleetwood (Oklahoma) and Louie Dampier (Kentucky/ABA/NBA) from Southport.
Louie Dampier was so solid. Always thought his name was pretty cool too.Kinda sounds like East Chicago Washington when they had Pete Trgovich and Tim Stoddard. Trg played for UCLA, and Stoddard played for NC State . . . and Stoddard became a MLB pitcher.

North Central's 2010 state winning title team had both Terone and Ronnie Johnson (Purdue), Devauntes Smith-Rivera (finished at Oak Hill then went to Georgetown), and Patrick Ingram (Iowa). Of course they also had Darius Latham who was an All-B10 Defensive Tackle but played for the Indiana All-Star team in basketball. How many teammates (regardless of going to IU) from Indiana HS both went to major programs, or even NBA???
David Logan was Gardner's backcourt mate. Played at UIndy and was the D2 national player of the year his senior year. Still currently playing in Europe at 40 years old.Did anyone play with Jason Gardner?
did Vaden ever play in the NBA? would assume he was rated way higher out of high school than leeNorth Central's 2010 state winning title team had both Terone and Ronnie Johnson (Purdue), Devauntes Smith-Rivera (finished at Oak Hill then went to Georgetown), and Patrick Ingram (Iowa). The 02-03 Pike team that went undefeated was absolutely loaded as well. Vaden (IU/UAB), Courtney Lee (WKU/NBA), and Justin Cage (Xavier) were all college standouts and they had 4 other D1 commits at mid-major schools.
