Hey, Woody.

The constant progression, then regression, is soooo damn frustrating. We spent nearly all the second half either single high pick and roll, with no off ball movement, or all out one side ISOing, on offense. Those things have proven, over and over and over again to not be efficient or effective since he got to Bloomington. Outside a 10ish game stretch, when he was doing it with one of the best big men in our schools history, and a lottery level guard…it’s been flat out awful. AND, F-ing AND, he has ran good actions. He has spread things out more. Pick your popular modern style and he’s tried them sporadically. And they’ve often worked. But invariably, we regress back to no movement, ISO ball, and we stagnate. 7-8 straight minutes of it in the 2nd half today. Produced 6 minutes without a damn point. It very easily could have cost us the game.

He’s so damn awful. My dislike for him as our basketball coach is approaching unhealthy levels.

He’s completely ruined his legacy and all good will from the late 70’s

I was thinkin the game was tomorrow. Sad to see the Hoosiers hold on as losing would have been more beneficial for IU fans today. I can't wait for B1G play so he can get exposed game in and out.

I am pleased how they came out in the second half. Remember what Coach Knight always said, "The first five minutes of the second half are very important".
I think about that quote every single game (unfortunately) but I think RMK also thought that effort/focus should continue through the remainder of the game.
More importantly he mused that the mental in to the physical as 4 is to 1. Sadly CMW coached teams are incapable of that aspiration.

The boosters made everything worse, IMHO.

Spending all of that money may have stopped a mass exodus and given hope to IU fans with all the new players they bought, but it was always destined to fail in the long term.

Anyone could see last season that he wasn’t a long term solution. Winning 5 in a row late last season to help us finish out a terrible season didn’t change that. And, if somehow this season had lived up to top 5 payroll expectations, that wouldn’t change it.

I was hoping for a complete roster turnover, new coach, new staff, and new management above the coaches. Instead, we got the good ole boy network and boosters tightening their grip on the program. Too bad we can’t flush the boosters down the drain with the coaches.
