Prices rising and I’m not sure what to do? Family’s going hungry and I have to walk a mile to the grocery store just to save money on gas.

MAGA is too busy being edge lords to care about us common folks and real issues. Got 18 year olds rummaging through our personal info and, honestly, they shouldn’t even be allowed to vote until they’re 25! Parks will be going to sh*t by the time the weather warms up… if I can even afford to drive there. I’m sure my state, local, and property taxes will increase to make up for what’s coming and, guess what, that doesn’t help my bottom line!

This is not what I voted for. Anyway, is heloc a good option to help with remodeling my refrigerator with some gosh dang eggs?

Being poor must suck…

If you want to tame inflation, support any effort to get government spending down.

That’s why we have it.
Yep, you’re right. Furthermore, we need a potus who will make a plea to cut rates and implement tariffs. No doubt this will help lower prices, level off housing costs, and bring livable wages.

I’m not endorsing Donald Trump. I’m endorsing spending cuts.

Quite frankly, the cuts Trump and Musk are (ostensibly) trying to affect would have scant effect. They’re moving around the pennies on a table with stacks of Benjamins nearby.

But something is better than nothing.

It’s always worth watching the best investor the world has ever known discuss Bitcoin. For the most part, I agree with him.

The best investor missed on the best performing asset ever the past 15 years. You can like his take, but at some point opinions should change when they’re incorrect. If Bitcoin is at 50k in 15 years, my opinion on it will change.

Also, is the issue with Bitcoin the fear of it not working in some way or the concept of sound money? Or both?

Edit: I just ran across this tweet and it sums up my take well on the current monetary system.

Did you listen carefully to what he said? It has little utility as a currency. It’s a store of value - with that value being predicated entirely on the greater fool concept.

There is no intrinsic value to them. That’s why he brought up the comparison to fine art and pyramids — as opposed to farmland and apartments.

Do you disagree with him about his $25B for 1% of farmland vs. $25 for all of Bitcoin? If you haven’t considered what he’s saying, you’d be wise to at least understand it…even if you ultimately disagree with him.

I’ve seen the video dozens of times. His entire premise is incorrect, which is why he can’t buy all the Bitcoin for 25. Bitcoin is the most important thing I own. It can’t be inflated away. It can’t be confiscated by a government. It is easily portable anywhere in the world. I can send it to anyone in the world within seconds and have it completely settled in 15 minutes and not need a third parties permission. It’s the perfect money. It has plenty of utility, which is why the price, hash rate, and adoption rates continue to increase. It’s bear case is Gold times 10.

Look, Buffet, is a 94 year old man worth Billions of dollars. He’s not going to be an early adopter of an emerging technology. He hasn’t thought about Bitcoin for longer than 10 seconds and only talks about when he is randomly asked about. It’s an annoyance for him.

love it! New MAGA edge lord slogan?
I like how some of the MAGA government workers now having second thoughts on their votes. They were fine with others losing their jobs, but wait just a minute when it is there own.

Farmers will be next as shutting down food aid programs will hurt.

I'm fine with researched and well thought out job cuts. But just killing off jobs indiscriminately will leave lasting impacts. Believe it or not some of these people do real work.

Red states are the net takers and will feel it first unfortunately.

With all due respect, I honestly don’t think you got his point. Virtually everything you’re saying here avoids it. The fact that he’s old and this is new, for instance. Irrelevant. The principles are the same.

The $25 thing was a hypothetical. It doesn’t matter that he can’t do it. What matters is why owning all Bitcoin would render them worthless. Because it would render them worthless.

The point isn’t that this could happen. It couldn’t. The point is understanding where their value comes from - as compared and contrasted with the value of any other kind of asset.

Biden wouldn’t allow any new energy production and then at the end had 10s of millions of chickens slaughtered to screw over Trump. Yet you morons still support that insane party. Truly a form of Stockholm syndrome.

He said Day 1 all of this would be over. We are well past day 1. For you guys where money is tight, buckle up. You've not seen anything yet.

People get so caught up in “who” that they pay almost no attention to the questions that matter most: “how” and “why”.

This is most especially true with tribalists.
Or how about, I can stop relying on other people for somethings and rely on myself, if I simply will put in a little effort. LITTLE effort.

Just because Buffet or you don't understand its value, doesn't mean it has no value. Humans want to store their time and energy in something that they can exchange in the future for goods/services. Over time they will choose the hardest money because it does the best job at maintaining purchasing power. It's why gold has held value for so long. Also, no worries if you disagree. The market will ultimately decide.

Just for Trump level transparency, This is not my Chicken tractor.................... YET. It will be in a few months though. With the addition of some laying boxes, wheels and speakers to replay "Sick'um on a chicken" (Zach Brown)or "Do the Funky Chicken" (Rufus)! I'll do a study to see which causes them to lay more eggs.

One issue we are seeing is that the interest on our debt equals the cost of defense. That is not a good deal.

My neighbor would occasionally let his hens free range in my pasture. A quarter horse mare we fostered would try to chase them out...one of the funnier things I've seen. A rescued tomcat would stalk the hens, but they would gang up on him, and run him out...yes...my eggs are free...

I've noticed that since I dumped the bitch, I'm ready to get back into the chicks. Gettin my groove back to being me for a change, instead of angry, drunk and stoned. I'm dumping the Angry part!

Just wait until you see the spending/tax plan you voted for. Speaker Johnson dropped it a couple days ago. Doesn't it cut the deficit? Nope. Does it end taxes on SS? Nope. Does it end taxes on tips? Nope. Does it end taxes on overtime? Nope. Does it have any tax cuts for people who makes less than 400K per year? Nope. Does it for people who make over 400k? A little bit. Does it cut taxes for the top 1%? **** yeah. Does it increase defense spending? **** yeah. Does it increase the debt? **** yeah, by $2 Trillion.

This plus prices still going up equals winning.

This was all so predictable but these guys are so gullible that Trump would save them. Can't wait to hear the crying by the Trumpers in my little town. Reality will start to hit this summer.

Am I the only one that had to look up edge lord? (think it's all one word, by the way)
