The alternate thread on Bball board prompted this... While I enjoy some alternate helmets, it's kind of out of hand. Could we cut it back to 3? Maybe red trident, all white trident and stripe chrome. Sorry block I people, Illinois helmet has now soured me on it completely. Numeral one just doesn't brand us at all and the state version is difficult to see. Add in the pink trident version (which looks ridiculous) and I'm not sure we saw a normal helmet last year. Wouldn't pink accessories be good enough if must be done? I like the fun in a few options just not having more variations than home games.
