Second time's the charm. Woke up with a bad head cold again, and I tested because a co-worker just tested positive a coupe of days ago. It finally got me.

For me it really does feel like just a cold, but not exactly a mild one.

It was super mild for me. Treat it like you would the flu and you should be OK. (Fluids, rest, control the fever, etc....you know the drill)

It feels like the flu plus a sinus infection mixed together. So ibuprofen, mucinex, and I really hope I'm not out of Sudafed. Plus lots of water.

And non-stop posting here from the comfort of bed.

From my experience (and a few that I've talked to), the cold / flu itself isn't that bad, but the recovery might take a bit longer than usual. Fatigue was an issue for me. I'd be feeling better, almost back to normal and go about my day, when suddenly this huge wave would just hit me and I'd have to sit or lie down for 10 minutes. Happened a couple of times a day for a few days after the other symptoms resided.

I’ve had an upper respiratory and ear infection since I got back from my trip. Dr couldn’t believe it wasn’t Covid, but tested multiple times. I think I’d have been over it by now. Get Gatorade or Pedialyte for dehydration.

Roughly the same as what I had. Z-pak took it out but was slow about it.

You must have had some other infection also because a Z-Pak doesn't work on a virus.... it's for bacteria.

I had the taste and smell thing for about five days and that was it.

This was sort of my experience. I was at a conference back in May where a number of people tested positive. I felt not-great and got tested. The next day I felt like I was hungover, which didn't seem fair because I didn't have a drop to drink. For 2-3 weeks I would get really run down on runs and just generally felt tired.

I still have not gotten it yet. Maybe my homeboy Jesus built me............better?
I have a nephew who is deep into a Jesus cult (the Rodney Howard-Brown church in Tampa.

RHB preaches that the vaccines are evil, so are masks, and that Jesus will keep the COVID out. They insist that nobody in their congregation (thousands!) has ever gotten COVID.

Obvious BS.

I asked my nephew what he would think of anyone in the congregation who DID get COVID. Obviously it would be a huge stigma, so it is routinely covered up.

Hey goat.... any better, worse, or about the same?

nyquil ftw.

If you need it, Liquid Iv helped me. But your are vaxxed so it’s probably much more mild

I don't know.... seems like I've heard of all ages around here. Seems like it depends more on how severe it seems to be.

mine was mild, but I started Lagevrio the day after I tested positive

sniffles
2 day cough
1 day headache
a little lethargy and fatigue

Worse symptom was not Covid - bad joint pain due to screwed up immune system wherein my body attacks my body to cure any virus or bacteria
